I don't really get facial hair. I have shaved probably three times in my life, earliest was probably 17.
As someone who doesn't like facial hair much- that's awesome.
Oh it isn't just facial hair, I have basically no body hair at all. Freakish, but streamlined.
Not freakish- Even better! Seriously, sexy makey-outy activities with lots of chest hair and such aren't great, it's kind of like getting tangled in a thicket. And you start to feel like you're being consumed Prototype-style.
Streamlined? You should take up swimming.

I start in 2001 when my dad showed me how. Right after my mother remarried. I do not shave that much now then I did back then.
Edit: I was 11

I had my first shave today (I'm 14).
Anyway I was wondering how old you where when you had your first shave?
I was 14 also. I still am, but it was months back. It feels really nice. But then, so does rubbing your growth and pondering the mysteries of you universe. It is getting quite annoying now though as it grows back to the point it irritates me in like 2 days.

Feels really untidy if I haven't for several days. I technically started at fourteen, but it was a blunt, cheap electric razor. I have since got a manual razor and do it like, twice or three times a week. Got some big sideburns in now, but I'm not sure if I want to keep them or not. Still feels good to do though - clean and the nice aftershave is satisfying. I can only guess women get the same feeling from their make-ups and fake tans and stuff. God knows they must feel good from it to go to all that bother. Compared to that, twenty minutes a week is well worthwhile.

I started at 14 (with an electric razor). I never did a proper shaving cream/razor shaving until I started training to work at a maximum security prison at 19.

12 but you don't have that listed as an option so I went with 13. Thankfully I was given a shaver on my 12th birthday ^_^
sorry I didn't think that People started shaving at 12
I did. Strangely, I'm not a hairy guy and my beard now when I let it grow is pretty weak (I'm 22).

Ehh, about 15, if memory serves. I was never really fussed about shaving, or my image, for that matter until my face-fuzz started to annoy me.

I was 16 (and still am) when my mom forced me to shave. She came home with a razor and shaving cream and told me I was going to shave.

Now, I'm trying to grow a bit of a beard though so I haven't been shaving as often as I probably should.

I was either 11 or 12, so I can't actually select an option on your poll.

I'm half Greek. We are a hairy people.

I was 15. I think. I was pretty excited about it too.

You'll start to hate it in a few months.
This. Shaving gets really old, really, really fast.
