That's why I waited a bit before posting my first thread.

Mine was about Sony, entitled "What's Sony's Problem?" in which I talked about how Sony obviously isn't listening to fans and needed to put some price drops before they wanted to start selling better. It got more views and posts than any other thread I made... and by that I mean it got 5 pages... and while I was looking through my old posts, I remembered how stupid I was back then. I'm so glad I didn't get in trouble for the stuff I said.

which made me really proud....until i found out that that doesn't take much effort.

About beating lions to death with peanuts... okay, not really, but that was included. It was about being starving in the desert and finding a bag of peanuts but being deadly allergic to them.

Went pretty well, I remember Furburt gave me a "possibly best thread ever" and quite a few liked beating lions apparently.

Well... I can only remember two threads I've ever done... and I don't know which was first.

One was about MS Office 2007 being banned over an XML issue... didn't do so well.

The other was after a particularly strong slew of threads by gradeschoolers claiming that freedom of speech gave them the right to be offensive. I let them know what I thought about them without really thinking about it and got three "cool story bro!"s and a three-day suspension...

... yeah... sweet sweet irony I suppose... but I got better!

Incidentally, I'm sick of seeing/hearing the terms "win" "fail" and "facepalm." I don't know why.

My first thread was a console war topic, but I tried to keep the peace and keep it from turning into a flame war. Overall it went pretty well.
It scored me the "Hot Topic" and "Excellent Topic" badges.

I don't even want to remember my first thread. It was something about New SUper Mario Bros. Wii and only like three people posted. At least I think that's what happened, to be honest I never checked it again after posting it.

My first thread made it three pages I believe. Not a huge success, but not a failure, at least, I don't think it was.

None of mine ever break four pages, even if I post an article on sex-bots...

D'awww... what was it about?

Mine was, I believe, about Watchmen (the movie), and why it seemed to have attracted so much hate. It went OK, it got to 2 or 3 pages, coincidentally making it my best thread yet in terms of posts... Although I've only made 3 or 4 threads here ever...

I learned that it is very rare to get any replies to a thread, even if the OP is totally awesome. It very quickly gets knocked from the first page of threads, so your only hope is to get a few replies within the first few minutes of its existance otherwise noone will ever get to see it.

My first thread was an okay thread, nothing special. And all my subsequent threads were, too.
