Aye. If one Flood spore survives and finds a good place to grow, the entire planet will be taken over. I'd be more afraid of the Flood on Earth than the Replicators.

Secondly, the replicators have proven very resiliant, assimilating and augmenting any technology they come across. They managed to augment a Goa'uld hyperdrive to that extent it could travel between galaxies. While the drives would be way worse and would take days to travel between distant planets.

Quite personally I found it more impressive when the Replicators recreated Atlantis and half of the Earth fleet.
