I'd rather fly. Cuts the risk of telefragging my friends when i go over to their house. Plus sometimes its nice to just enjoy the journey......

Flight, I'm not too crazy about the idea of fucking up and getting stuck in a wall...0o

But if I had my choice I'd go with reading minds or at least invisibility....>=)

Way cooler to fly.

Imagine if you teleport wrong and fall from 20000 feet high or get inside a wall.

There is no way to fix that.
Imagine if you fly wrong and fall from 20,000 feet.

I would rather fly. Although teleporting would be faster, it just wouldn't be as cool as flying.
I second that especially if we get large bat like or black feathery wings

Oh my god flight wins hands down. Yes teleportation would be more efficient and faster, but flight would be so much more fun! How does that old saying go, it's not about the destination but about the journey?

Depends a bit on what I'd want to do with it... as long as making/stealing money is not in the debate for teleportation (and flying wasn't excruciatingly slow), I'd go with flying as it doesn't rob you of the spacial feeling :)

Flight. Allows me to explore, with teleportation one would generally have to have a good idea exactly where they want to go lest they become part of a wall, or worse yet; merge with someone else and form some sort of Kuato.

ok i think i'll break down the pros and cons of each side:

FLYING
pros:
-more scenic, not just for yourself, but in case you want to bring a girl up with you for some....romantic time...*way to score*
-less complex operation(in theory anyways)-since the way to control would be somewhat straight-forward

cons:
-slower. air resistance combined with vulnerabilities of the flesh means there's a max speed to adhere to unless you want to rip off chunks of your flesh or burn up in the atmosphere due to drag. will require a special suit to achieve grater speeds.
-heavy air traffic may be hazardous to your health. esp since all you have is your eyes, the wind gushing past as you fly would probably limit hearing. you may require a special radio to co-ordinate with ATCs just so you dont crash into another aircraft. and also the part where the air national guards comes after you to try to shoot you down.

TELEPORTATION
pros:
-fast, almost instantaneous travel
-assuming there is no cool-down for teleportation, you can simulate flying by instantaneously teleport from one point to the next for the "flight duration"
-able to reach some hard to reach spots that even flying cant get to.
-able to get out of dangerous situations quickly if you manage to identify the dangers fast enough
(escape and evasion)

Cons:
-theoretically more complex to control, may end up in the wrong place or into danger(IE SPAWN KILLED)or into a wall
-as explored in the series "Fringe" prolonged teleportation may lead to molecular instability and cause you to be vulnerable any disturbance.
-generally not as romantic as flying

me, being the pragmatic person, would therefore rather have teleportation rather than flying.

Depends of course how they work.

Is the flying super-fast? Does the teleportation make noise?
Overall, I'd say teleportation, ONLY because with flying you'd easily be seen and captured and tested on by the military, and you couldn't escape.
And you can't sneak up on anything as well as you could with teleport

Flying would be more stylish and would probably feel amazing.

Teleporting would be safer and more practical. But I guess I could give the illusion of flying by teleporting an inch in front of me over and over again really quickly.

The other thing is....

Tele port. Teleport into the girls bath room. Then out. TAKE THAT FLYING.
Teleportation wins.

You want to know why teleporting would suck, well, how would you like the idea of insta-killing yourself just so you can be cloned somewhere, and your clone can run about claiming to be you....ever watch the movie The Prestige?

Or simply watch this:

I think flying would be more fun. Get a chance to see some pretty cool stuff, but then you could only fly so high before you couldn't breathe. So i guess my vote goes for teleportation.

depends
Is this like Dragon Ball Z where I can fly almost as fast as I want?
Or to teleport, all I got to do is put two fingers on my forehead and I go anywhere I want in the universe?

As cool as the flying was in DBZ, I'd go with the teleporting.

Assuming it's without error, and works on some principle other than "disintegrate yourself and rebuild somewhere else", I'd go with teleportation. So many ways to screw with people's heads...

Teleporting, even if I want a birds eye view, I can teleport in the sky and back down before I crash.

teleport,
because you can be more perverted and screw with more peoples heads with teleportation than with flying.
"mommy, that man is flying" "why yes, yes he is"

"mommy, a man just poofed into our house" "no one is here sweety..."

If flying was so important (the thrill and the view and stuff) then it stands to reason that I could just teleport into the sky and keep teleporting back up before I hit the ground.
So I'd stick with teleportation as its quicker and overall more useful.
This.

Teleport into sky = flying.

Just micro the teleportation
