Chili gets a lot better the more it's in the fridge (up to a certain point of course). However, sometimes steak tastes just plain strange. That's normally when I reheat it in the microwave, but I have found exceptions both ways. And of course, fried chicken pretty much always tastes worse when it's been in the fridge, soaking up moisture.
