Woo, football!!!! Yee-haw.
It's Slovenia-Algeria right now, and Slovenia just scored. Woo.
Seriously though, yeah, I'm watching and I'll probably be watching until F1 later today.
So, yeah, I'm very interested.

For me F1 takes priority over football.

I like international Football tournaments, but I hate Footballers, bunch of whiney pampered babies.

Apparently everybody gives a crap about football, seeing as these kinds of threads are spreading like wildfire.

OT. Normally I don't enjoy football, but for the WC I make an exception. Go Dutch!

Used to play when I was a kid (always the keeper -.- ) which is good for fun/killing time

But watching it is just so dull - the balls over here now, he's fallen and faking, he kicks it and GOOOOOOOOALL (as if it's a pivotal moment in history). Matches for me just seem to be a place where people get over excited and overpaid over a ball.

Football salary = good few thousand a week even if they don't play in an actual game. And people wonder why alot of players are arrogant personalities and end up using drugs etc

(Had to do an English debate on that before - it's a big topic)

I don't mind the game itself, although personally I find it boring compared to rugby or football, but I loathe the majority of people in this damn country, who expect me to give a shit just because they do.

Is Ireland even in it?

Dislike it bigtime, just like I dislike any other sport.
The day games get their own televised tournaments (I know Korea does that with StarCraft since the game give every Korean a boner, but StarCraft was never big with me) I might vaguely tolerate it.

But still, sports = Meh, don't care.

Out of curiosity, who do you root for?

I would make a remark about how we evicerated the Netherlands during the last Euro... but seeing how you're participating in the tournament, and we're not, I think I'll pass.

The only time I've ever watched and cared about football was during the finale of Euro 2004, Greece vs. Portugal, and that's because I was in Greece at the time, Greece won, it was crazy in the streets that night.

Oh most people talk about it where I am. Always going on about their teams and player transfers. I'm sensing a lot more talk about it, being that the people who don't like it are now also talking about it too (on these forums).

Love football... but for some reason, I just couldn't care less about the World Cup. I enjoy watching it, it's just I'm not excited.
