I'd love to play another game where I can arc force lightning, fore throw Jawas into the stratosphere, or just generally fuck shit up with a lightsaber (twin 'sabers from the look of the trailer)

I enjoyed the first one, so I hope they learned from the mistakes they made and make a masterpiece.

I never finished the first one, got bored by the time I got the death star.

I really didn't like the design of the game that much, it was okay, but you're playing the "Force Unleashed" and then they put you up against enemies that are basically immune....so whats the point of having this force powers then??

It was basically PsyOps with a lightsaber.

If they can vastly improve the game, I'll take a look.

Wait, is that StarKiller? didn't he die in the official cannon ending? If so, why is he around now!?

It's going to take alot of crap to get around that one...
Although, twin lightsabres is ALWAYS awesome!

And Force Lightning seems cool still :p.

But why, in the name of all the Star Wars games that come out of Lucas Arts, are they not doing Battlefront 3!?
Battlefront 1+2 were amazing! So a third is sure to be epic!

The first one was a good game... but THE MAIN CHARACTER IS DEAD!!!! They better have a damn good explanation.

I don't really like it when writers kill of badass characters, and I dislike it even more when they bring them back magically. I guess The Force+George Lucas fixes every-freaking-thing.

It'll never fix Phantom Menace....

Force Unleashed? Jedi Knight? Meh.

Where's the love for a Republic Commando sequel? If there ever was a Star Wars game that screams "need a sequel here!" and deserves it more than most other games, Star Wars or otherwise, it was Republic Commando.
they made the sequal into a book..... messed up the force unleashed (it felt a that it should be more powerful like slice a AT-AT in half powerful)..... and forgot about jedi knight..... They really have problems.

Thank God bioware is making a starwars game. KotOR 3.......4...5..6,7,8,9,10

Hey! Darth Maul was BA! Although the film was bad I'll admit...mind you, the Pod-race bit was pretty good...well I though it was anyway...

BA? Bad-ass? What...looking? He had 1 line, was on screen for about a total of 10 minutes and died, after (thankfully) killing probably the worst Jedi the series has ever given us in Qui-Gon. Hardly :)

Also, the Pod-Race was just a special effects show, it was pretty boring and could have been cut in 1/4th the time frame and still had the same effect on the story. It had no real tension as you knew going in Anakin was going to win.

Also it did make for a pretty fun Video Game....probably was the plan all along.

Well I liked TFU. For me it had more good than bad. The story being shoddy is something I always defend because I thought it was great. I've never actually heard why it was "boring" or "shit" Flinging stormtroopers around with the euphoria engine was great and was definitely a highlight, but it got old even with the advancements and new powers that The Apprentice gains. The story is what I kept coming back for. For a game, it's just epic. I can't say i expected a sequel. But I'm sure with the writers from the original they'll be able to piece something logical together. But of all the star wars games I've played this is the one that in my opinion, least needs a sequel. The story was fine. The character development was nice, all of the characters start somewhere and end somewhere. Especially the apprentice. All the loose ends were resolved at the end and we're dropped straight into the story of Episode 4. It'd probably be cool witnessing the story from Episode 4 from the perspective of an outside character, but if they fuck it up I don't think I'll play through the entire game.

Of all the Star Wars games I think the one that deserves a sequel the most is KotOR. They created such an epic in-game world with so many little tie ins to the first game in the second one. Like being able to find Carth's blaster. The story from KotOR was also much deeper and had a greater effect on me than the twist at the end of KotOR one. Although I think it was wasted on the child I was back then, I now realize how epic and great that story really was. Even if the ending wasn't there. Please Lucas Arts! Give KotOR a sequel!

I didn't really have much fun with the first one, though that could be because I could only play the PS2 version of it... But maybe... so long as they don't try to tie the original trilogy to Episodes I-III.

I hate to say it, but I'm with the general consensus on this one. TFU had the most conon-screwing plot, but flinging stormtroopers around with the force was so much fun!

My two cents? Hope beyond hope that they've got some decent writers in for the plot or give the engine and gameplay to a team that can make a game we want. Like Republic Commando, Jedi Knight or KotOR.

It didn't seem to be a particularly sequel worthy game to me.

What we I really need is a new Jedi Knight game.

NOW.
Ditto this, Jedi Outcast is still my favorite Star Wars game

...Yeeeah, the first one sucked pretty bad. Though I did play the Wii version, which might have plagued my opinion a bit.

I watched some footage of that. It looked like a completely different game. We would all be better off pretending that one didn't happen. I think if you were to pick up any of the other versions you'd love them by comparision.
