Are there any freerunners or traceurs/traceuses on the site? Do you discriminate between the two?

If you aren't familiar with these terms, Feel free to use a seach engine. OR check out this website www.metapk.weebly.com

I'm looking for fellow traceurs and freerunners to assist me in creating an international website community. (the above said website)

If I see Asian girls with funny tattoos starting messenger services in real life and getting harassed by police, I might be more impressed. If I saw a freerunner/traceur running through my city, I'd probably be like "what the hell was that?" then just ignore it and move on.

In a word: "Yawn".

In the city I'm in, it's pretty hard to practice parkour or freerunning. And freerunning and parkour are the same. Parkour means "Freerunning" in French.

Oh, most definitely not. There are differences.

Parkour is about getting from A to B as efficiently as you can. free running is about getting from A to B as artistically as you can.

No sport on Earth has a higher percentage of douchebags than Freerunning/Parkour-- not even hacky-sack or skateboarding.

I want to learn Parkour SO much. But, there aren't any good places around and I don't know how I would learn it. Are there places that teach you or is it entirely self-taught?

The only time I participate in that is if i'm chasing someone or being chased, the only reason it should be used in my opinion.

We all know that anyone here who says they do, infact, doesn't, and just wants to sound cool on the internet.

Im a beginner Traceur, Im just banned from doing it while at home, cuz my first day out I tried a speed vault, slipped, and hit my chin on the ground. I ripped (yes, ripped, not cut or scrape) a 4 inch gash into my chin. I still do parkour occasionally, but Im really out of practice and out of shape because Im in college.

I imagine it would be great fun to do and a useful transport if you were really good at it. But until that day happens your going to spend 99% of your time breaking bones, bleeding and generally face planting railings.
