I am keeping up to date with it but to be honest I don't think it's that great at all. I think the staff probably like it a lot more than we do because it's a parody of themselves. It does still make me laugh every now and then now. I like Doraleous and Associates a lot more, even if it is a little slow paced.

I'm still watching but it's mostly because I want to see if it's going to actually improve and act upon suggestions offers in their threads, as well as this one too. I'm not enjoying it but I also have nothing better to do with my time so I don't mind watching 10 minutes of crap if it makes 10 minutes go by faster.

Still watching? ha!

I had better sense than to start!

Video Games + Dogs = Bad Idea.

It was doomed from the start!
Dogs have always been extremely important to video games. Where would the drive to be more accurate in Duck Hunt have been without the dog? What would Okami be without a canine? Who would sell your stuff in Torchlight?
Duck Hunt pissed me off and was boring as hell, Okami is a Wii game = do not care, and spider would sell my stuff in Torchlight.
IT WAS ON THE FUCKING PS2 FIRST!

And it's an amazing game.

Other than that...

game dogs, yes, they're not good. Now game giraffes... that'd be intersting.

Nope. Kinda sad really when the concept and art style made me want to like it. I usually watch some of the shows that I find less funny here when I get bored, but I've persuaded myself to stop watching Game Dogs completely so that it doesn't get +1 more viewer and hopefully gets canceled or at least not as featured as they've made it out to be.

I watch it, but not enthusiastically. The writing has improved, but it doesn't hold my interest like other shows on the Escapist.

I watched every episode up to 5.

Dear God, watching paint dry is actually more interesting! Seriously!

[sub]look, it's condensing now..[/sub]

I hope the Escapist cancels this misguided, misjudged heap of shite and moves the money used to make it into something that actually doesn't make people cry in shame that this sort of jism in show form is featured on their favourite website.

It's too bad, because Russ Pitts has made some great shows. This will never be remembered as one of them.

Just accept it's a miss of cosmic proportions and cancel it without haste.
I complelely agree, the show isn't even entertaining.

BTW: I adore your new avatar, how long have you had it?

I watch it still, I find it fun but there are elements which annoy me, like Gary the dog repeating certain things over and over again for emphasis... that kind of gets irritating after a while, but I'm not sure if that's the angle they're going for.

I gave it two or three chances, its not really that good to be honest.

Now Doraleous and Associates I'm enjoying quite a bit, even though I'm sure the humor is not for everyone I love it and it makes me laugh every time :)

This thread has no place on the Escapist.

Whether or not people are watching any particular series, the Escapist staff and the content creators know. They know how many episodes you have watched of any given show, they know how many people watch them, and how many times. If a series isn't getting enough viewers, it won't be around for more than what they've already committed to, and we've seen some featured shows come and go already.

But this, this bitching in the forums, has no merit. It is an insult to the people who work so hard to entertain YOU. Whether ten people watch a show, or ten thousand do, a thread like this spits in the face of the show's creator. They want to know how many people LIKE their work, they don't want statistics on how many hate it. Hate encourages more hate, because people are groupies by nature, and threads like this serve only to sour people against their work.

Every video has its own comments section. If you have a beef about the episode, say it there. And if you dislike the show so damn much, don't watch it. But don't come into the forums and trash talk the series. All this kind of shit will accomplish is to dissuade people from making content for this site.

And I know this may sound strange coming from me, the ranting hate machine who lives to bash everything under the sun, but as the saying goes, don't piss where you sleep. You want to rip a TV show a new asshole, want to ***** out something from Newgrounds, fine. But not Escapist material. Criticism is fine, and the place for it is in the comments section of a production, but not this...
Calm down... every one is entitled to an opinion and if people generally dislike a show they have a right to say it. I'm decided I don't like the show from watching an episode, not because people told me.

I just found this and love it. I laugh at this hysterically. Watched a marathon of all the episodes and want more.

Why does everyone seem to hate Game Dogs?

Ive seen alot of Game dogs threads lately. Mainly in the "feature content". And just about every thread is packed with posts. It doesnt stop there. Just about every single episode has been followed with about 100? to 200 comments. You?d think this reaction would be positive but it really isn?t.

I see nothing but criticism. Okay that?s not true. Id say about 82.5 percent of all comments contain criticism (solely) and that?s still quite a lot. ( - The rest of the comments being conservative cartoon-lovers/furries desperately trying to show some appreciation in an ocean of abhorrence. I think its great! Im among them. )

SO? that brings me to my question. Whats up with this straight-out hate? When I see a crappy episode I just skip to another video. Or close the tap. I don?t post any comment seeing as a boring, unappealing series isn?t worth my attention in the first place.

A lot of you do the exact opposite. You sit down and write a long, semi-provoking comment with criticism directly aimed at the producers. And you return, many of you return, to post new comments on the next episodes of the same series. Is Game Dogs really that hard to ignore? Seriously whats up with this? How this particular series manage to generate so much hatred and steal so much attention is beyond me.

Is it because they are dogs?

Is it?
