It's not like they are paying for it, or even being forced to watch it so the comments are not necessary and if anything are just a pointless insult to someone who had put effort into creating something.
You think criticism is an insult. Your opinion is invalid.
People voicing their opinion about the last 5 episodes do so because they do not like those individual episodes which in turn makes them hate the show and they have every right and reason to voice their opinion. Criticism is helping this show more than you fucking about saying criticism is an insult does.
Criticism helps the creators improve on the concept. Saying that the show is not funny will alert the producer that the comedy show he's producing is genuinely disliked due to it not being humorous. This will make the producer force the writers to do a better job or replace them completely.
If the producer of this show does't give a flying fuck about genuinely improving his show the he can say so.
You clearly don't understand the meaning of the word criticism.
"This show sucks and is not funny." Is an insult.
"The show is not funny because ..., it could be improved by ..." is criticism.
If you don't say how something can be improved then you are just mindlessly being rude, saying something isn't funny without explaining
why is not going to help them improve it.
The again, judging by your first sentence I can't really expect a mature response out of you so I don't know why I'm bothering.

True, but look two posts above yours at Furburt's reply,
that's the kind of thing we mean when we say people need to actually say what's wrong rather than just saying they hate it.
Russ can actually get some feedback from it.

Exactly, Considering there are a lot of type of humour out there, without explaining what joke isn't funny and why they aren't going to have an idea of what's wrong.

But a lot of people say that the show is not funny. The criticism of an entire community matters giving that they're the ones watching the show.
"It's not funny" implies that the show is not funny and the suggestion is pretty obvious: "step up the humor".
What kind of humour? Fart jokes? Dark humour? Twisted humour? Dry/Ironic humour, Toilet jokes? Slapstick? Everyone finds different things funny, without saying what jokes you don't like and why how the hell is he supposed to improve it? Trial and error? I can really see everyone appreciating
that when the style changes every week.
