No I don't, but if I ever get some extra cash, I've had my eye on the Mass Effect N7 Hoody [http://biowarestore.com/apparel/hoodies/n7-armour-stripe-hoody]. It looks pretty sweet, and the game refference isn't too much "in your face" so I don't have to explain my shirt to everyone.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite hoodie in my wardrobe.

It's ok, you can touch me if you want.

Oh, I also have that black HL2 t-shirt from the HL2: collector's edition.

I have a few, Pac-man, Warcraft and then a couple of custom prints with the horde logo and the Kain Clan symbol from blood omen.

Even if I wasn't wearing the shift I've got 2 tattoos from games as well, the Kain clan logo on my right shoulder and Jin's tattoo/burn from tekken on my left shoulder.

Let me just say to begin that, wearing a gaming related t-shirt, is, well, just...awesome!
Sadly, I don't have any gaming 'clothes' per-se that fit me any more. However, I do have a limited edition (from launch night) Gran Turismo 4 keyring that I've been using for the last 7 or so years.
GT4, for me, was a gaming milestone. A terrific game. One of my top 5 on the PS2 (my joint favourite console next to the SNES).

I wouldn't really wear it, so I don't own it. Gaming's a hobby of mine I do on my own time, I try not to let it become the only thing I do or talk about.
Would you wear a band t-shirt, or a shirt from an exhibition, or a concert? Maybe a t-shirt you got for volunteering, or for taking part in a sporting events, or one from your old school/college, or a society you're involved in at college I don't think wearing a gaming t-shirt implies that gaming is the only thing you do/talk about.

I don't have any but depending on what it was I would probably wear it. If it's just a piece of clothing with a big name of the game plastered on it then probably not but you can get the clever ones with images which make it very recogniseable to what game it came from.
I like this one, I should probably get it.

Well, last year I got an AC2 hoodie for pre-ordering at JB HI-FI, and I didn't wear it out because I was a tad concerned at seeming an attention-seeking GURL GAMER or a crazed fan. I eventually wore it to uni the other day to see what would happen, and to my surprise got a couple of compliments from strangers.

So I was wondering, do Escapists buy or wear game clothing? Any real reason why or why not? And what do other people think about it?
OMG GULR GAMER I LOVEZ YOUZ

sorry 'bout that, I'm a bit starved for attention today.

OT: sure, if I get a free shirt out of it, I'd wear it, although I would prefer a shirt with a bass on it, and "real men use 4 strings"

I wouldn't mind getting hold of the ZP shirt "Let me hold your face under the putrescent waters of knowledge", but I hardly have money to go throwing away on fanciful clothing unfortunately.

Does a t-shirt that says 'guns don't kill people, magic missiles do.' count as a gaming shirt?

I don't wear plain t-shirts ever. I have a ton of gaming shirts. I also have many nerd shirts. I get lots of compliments on them.

I am currently wearing my Mass Effect hoodie. It is awesome.

I do wear shirts from my school, but that's more of a mark of pride. The ones I have mean you've gotten through the first half of your engineering degree. I've also got one that makes a little crack at the arts department. I also wear the odd t-shirt I've gotten from work.

I guess those reflect a part of my personality I'm proud of, whereas there's nothing to boast about in being a gamer. (Subjective, this is my opinion.)

No, and I wouldn't. I like games and I see the appeal in wearing clothing which demonstrates your love for a game, but it's just not for me. I wear what I wear and play what I play. I guess that isn't much of a reason in it self, but then again, I never cared much for reason either.

No. I don't have any. But I would gladly wear a shirt that has this on it:

Give me a shirt with that on it, and I will never take it off.
