Poll: Games of March

FF XIII would probably be my first choice. Maybe God of War, but then I'd have to be pulling money out my ass.

Lunar Remake, Dante's Inferno and Blazblue Portable are at the forefront of the list right now. I MIGHT pick up Assassins Creed 2 PC, but the whole DRM issue is giving me major second thoughts. If Singularity turns out good (god I hope so) then that will be a good way to end the month.

Definetly God of War 3 and Bad Company 2. Maybe Metro 2033 and Command and Conquer 4, if my PC can run them, which I doubt it can.

PC specs for Metro. Mine can't do it. Gonna get it for the Xbox.

hmmm, I've got the dual core and 1g of ram for minimum settings, but I'm not sure what graphics card I have. I don't game on my computer a lot, so I don't have a particularly good one I'm sure. Playing Mass Effect (1) for more than an hour forces my computer into sleep mode, so even if it is good enough, it would probably be too much for my PC to handle for an extended amount of time.

And I don't have an Xbox 360, so that's not really an option either. Oh well, my computer is dying, so maybe I can convince my parents to get me a gaming PC. The sad thing is, my friend's gaming PC, which he can run games on the high settings on, was cheaper than my shitty PC, which lags like a ***** on low settings and cost about $1500. My parents got ripped off on that... of course they were opposed to me playing video games on the PC at that time, but they don't mind anymore. Well, I can always hope.

My gaming PC isn't the beefiest, but its no slouch. I can run games at fairly good settings, default at least, and everything looks good and runs great. A lot has to do with the RAM though, if you don't have enough (1GB is not enough, I had that for a while), the game will be terribly laggy. If you get a new PC, i suggest Alienware. I have an M15x, and love it. The harddrive died a couple weeks ago, so it gave me a reason to get a better one, and it was really easy to install drivers and software from the website. My friend had the same problem, and he can't do anything for his HP.

None, due to the fact none of those games interest me. But more so mainly to the fact I don't have any money at the moment.

Same here. The games hold no interest over me (except for maybe Metro 2033), and I have quite a backlog already.

Where is Perfect Dark? That's the only game that comes out in March that I want.

I tried sticking with games that hadn't already come out somehow. I should of put "other" instead of the DS.

We need a none of the above.

Dragon Age: Awakening!

Seriously, why do people who make these threads seem to know very little about what is actually coming out, beyond a very narrow tunnel of stuff that interests them?

Nah, it's just that Dragon Age expansion is not even in the same league as some of the presented titles. Having played DA:O right before Demon's Souls at X-Mas, I can say that Demon's Souls is a FAR better RPG than DA:O. DA:O is a generic and average RPG and not worth any extra DLC money.

Demon's Souls is a hack'n'slash action game with RPG elements further diminished by its platform exclusivity. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad game, but it's not much of an RPG. Therefor I don't compare it to actual RPG games just as I wouldn't compare Devil May Cry to Madden. As for Dragon Age, it's neither generic nor average. It is a great game, and I'm sorry you failed to appreciate it. Also, Awakening promises to deliver as much content and playtime as most full-feature releases, so I disagree with your assessment of its "league".

Also, DA:A isn't the only major release that is missing from the poll and I was reffering to these topics in general.

Nope Demon's Souls is an RPG in the same vein as any Action RPG (ME, Secret of Mana, etc).
DA:O is generic in every possible way. Not a bad game, just brings nothing new to the table.

EDIT: And the clusterf*ck combat could have been repaired by adding priority (ala FFXII) to the AI commands (Gambits or whatever they were called in DA:O). As it stands, the AI selects from any possible command that meets the criteria given... what a waste.

Well, we'll just have to disagree then.

Actually, I went to ign.com, and looked at what was coming out for each system in March. I didn't count DLCs like that for DA:O, and games that have already come out on other systems like AC:2 and Perfect Dark. Not everyone just puts down the 3 games they know are coming out. I wish there was more options for slots so I could put other games and some DLCs too.
