So, want you to go trough all the games you have right now, and tell me which of them you haven't finished yet. No need to count the games you're playing right now, or games you've sold or traded off. At the moment I have:

Super Mario Sunshine
-Was really cheap. Thought I could play it on Wii, turns out you need GC controller and memory card. Now I got them, but just don't bother to play.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radience
-Was really looking forward to it. When I played, turns out it has shitty difficulty level, hollow story and characters have nothing else going for them than big round eyes and little empty heads. I really liked the series so far, so this was probably my biggest dissapointment.

Persona 3:FES
-I really liked this game, if not for story (too little), difficulty (too easy), or the horrible horrible (horrible) battle music, then for its really cool graphic style and personas. But after the main story-line (which took me about 75 hours to finish) ha ended, the game threw me an additional story. Kind of an epilogue, which takes 30+ hours, has extra difficulty, and even more battle than before. I went along it for a while and it was pretty fun, but after having replayed same dungeons and floors over and over, it has gotten just tiring. I've spent over 100 hours into this game already, and it just doesn't stop. I'm tired. I'm gonna finish it someday, but right now it's just gone far enough.

So, what do you find when you go trough your games?

If you don't include all but a few of my arcade games :

. Call of Duty : World at War - Beat it on a friends console, and can't work up the enthusiasm to finish it again.

. Condemned 2 - I didn't like it, I got it for a couple of pounds so no real loss.

. Oblivion - Same as Condemed.

Most of the games I haven't finished have been due to lack of reading reviews prior to buying them, sadly. Two I bought but didn't like was Turok Evolution and Metal Gear Solid 2. Two other games I am truly sorry about not having finished are Killer 7 and Silent Hill 2. Killer 7 was really interesting and different, but I got to myself trapped in a corner with a stupid save that was almost impossible to get out of, I and haven't gotten around to replaying it yet. Silent Hill, well, I bought it played for a few hours decided I didn't like it and then traded it in, a choice a have regretted ever since as people talk about it all the time.

... I've got a steaming pile of uncompleted PC games... (I think at last count on Gamespot all the games I owned came to a total of 5+ thousand dollers accumulated over the course of about 16 years)

Most of my console games I finish, however I haven't finished any Final Fantasy other than VII and X. Probably because I didn't have a PS1 for a long time, and because X was the last good FF game to me XII had a great plot but I just couldn't get the hang of the combat system and it just felt overwhelming.

There are tons of games I never finished. I rent most of my games, so I'm not in the "rich" category. It's just that if I get distracted by something shiny, I'm unlikely to return to the game and eventually have to return the rental.

Of the games I own but never seem to finish, I'd have to say Oblivion. I just can't get around to it. When I do play it, I end up doing EVERYTHING except the main quest and eventually, I get distracted. I've been playing it recently, but then came DoW2 Beta and Defense Grid, so it's sitting on the backburner again...

It's not that "I'm not good enough to finish the game", it's "The game's not good enough to finish me". I'm sticking to that excuse, anyway.

There is a ton of games i have not finished. Some of the newer ones:

GTA 4: Overall the game wasn't good. Just some mediocre driving with mediocre shooting.

Fallout 3: Perhaps I play it when the levelcap is raised.

Valkyria Chronicles: I cannot understand why everybody loves this game and praises it for its story. The story is crap (I have played half of the game and it seems there is nothing like a story in the first place. Just a series of unconnected events.), the RPG elements are close to nonexistent, the gameplay is too much of trial and error. (Seems to be a problem with most turn based strategy...)

I totally did this with Killer 7. On the level that starts with the gas station. I've saved in room with a few characters dead "that's right i'm a cleaner". If I walk out the door, there's a couple of giant Almeida and two fast ones. "Yaaaaah!" Bang!

I also want to restart. It's a good game, but I usually play games my wife likes to watch and she doesn't like the sounds.

I have completed Silent Hill 2 though, I don't want to add to the pain but it's easily a top five game for me.
