Yu-gi-oh cargame for the playstation (i forgot what game it was exactly). Yu-gi-oh was seen as a childs thing at the time, although it was popular. I tell you what, that game fucking rocked. Ive heard Digimon game was good too!

Like others in this thread, I get laughed at for playing Peggle.
But, I should explain that the people that are laughing at me have no clue as to what makes a game fun.
Example: the two people who make fun of me for playing Peggle, play ( and I swear I am not making this up) Halo 3 multiplayer, Call of Duty Nazi Zombies, and the most recent baseball, football, or golf franchise. That's it. They haven't played anything else. They haven't even played the campaign for World at War or Halo 3.
Now, I am not saying that the games they play aren't fun, but it's extremely limited, and in their view anything that is not a multiplayer kill-fest or a sports game, does not qualify as fun. As such, and I think people on the escapist would understand this, my friends have a very narrow view of what makes a game fun, and by extension, have missed out on some of the best games in existence.

I got laughed at the other day because I was playing Pokemon Yellow. You just gotta revisit those old classics right. I also get the piss taken out of me occasionally because I'm a massive fan of RTS (One word and I'll queue up a slappin', I swear). Thing is I shouldn't be laughed at with teh people who have laughed. I'm on a Videogame Design course, so you'd expect those people to welcome trying and playing games even if they are questionable. Expansion of knowledge in the design area is kinda cruical.
