Ok, if anyone knows me from my other posts you'd know I'm kinda tired of music based games, and WWII games, but still love the psychological horror games. As I've always asked questions, whats game genre are you tired of seeing?

Music games. Can't stand Guitar Hero, myself. Why play a silly 5 button guitar when you can learn how to actually play a real one?(Plus all the new titles under this moniker are just for the sake of milking the franchise and promoting sell-out bands of bygone eras.)

ITS ALL THE SAME damn, why not just release one game... and a constant stream of song/theme packs? faster dev cycle... more time spent on new games and ideas...

After the first Call of Duty. I said "great game but for fuck's sake can we have them in modern times?" Yes I am sick of WWII games. They are boring and we all now how it turned out.
No I haven't played Modern Warfare yet.
Music games are fun, but that fad is over now.
Need more adventure games, like The Longest Journey. Fighting games are fun, but only worth the rental price.

Am I the only one sick of generic third person action games? I cite the awful disappointment that was Mercenaries 2, and Uncharted, along with various other releases that really weren't very good.
The only game of this ilk I even want to play to be honest is Arkham Asylum, in the hope that it has been done well.

My only music rhythm game was GH2, and although I was inisitally excited about GH3 and Rock Band, I got bored with the idea before their release. The fact that people are still enjoying the idea of GH5 and Beatles Rock Band astounds me. Not that the music choices are poor, I think they're great. I just find those games tremendously unentertaining now.
xD I wont say I am even a remote fan of games like guitar hero, but I did love me some DDR. However, that has more to do with being a grand stander.
