I'm not an alcoholic but my poison is coke. I have an addiction to it, especially vanilla coke, I could drink it with anything all day.
Me too. And we don't have it in Canada anymore. It was my favorite beverage.
Your shitting me? How can they just not have it anymore? Unless it was unpopular that doesn't make sense to me.

Well, if I was you I would try and get it imported or something.
Apparently it didn't sell well enough. They stopped selling it in Canada a few years ago. A select few stores in Ontario sometimes get it imported but no where else.
I always pay my friend who has relatives in the States to bring me back a few cases of it.
That's good to hear, least it's possible for you to obtain, not everyone will have that luck.

Coke. Maybe Pepsi. Depends on the situation, and how delicious I want my drink to be, vs annoying aftertaste.
Alcohols? I am partial to (2R,3R,5R,6R)-heptane-1,2,3,4,5,6,7-heptol.

Hot Damn 100 proof. Funny though, I can drink a handle of this being 154lbs., and keep walking, talking. My sister (older) is 280lbs., and after a handle of this is on the ground.

Wine.

If you went back in time and asked me what kind of alcohol drinker I wanted to be, I probably would have placed wine around 10th. I was shocked when I later found out that not only do I like cheap wine, I like it more than any other alcohol by a mile! I love wine even more than my beloved Rum & Cokes or my screwdrivers.

But I feel obligated to finish off this post by mentioning that I drink alcohol about 4 - 6 times a year. I'd rather be sober than drunk any night of the week.

Whiskey is my first choice, but we are coming into summer, so I'll probably start my evenings on cider. I'd say a cold cider on a hot summers day is more refreshing then a beer. And then I'd scull half a bottle of whiskey just to remind everyone of my manliness.

Usually I drink long drinks but my poison would probably be high % and... mixtures. Cannot decide, but high % usually get me into lots of trouble - or hugging the toilet seat. :| And I be no gentleman + I have no liquor head whatsoever (means I get drunk way too easily)

Vodka is generally my poison, it tastes the best to me and I can take it better than anything else because of my tolerance to it.

Well, taking the question literally, I'd have to say the Australian cone-fish. Note only does the barb kill instantaneously, but within around 30 seconds all traces of the poison have disintegrated from the body, making the cause of death untraceable. Otherwise, I'd slip a funnelweb spider into the guy's shoe/jeans. Wouldn't arouse attention because they often make their way into human habitation like shoes and clothes, and are possibly THE most aggressive spider towards primates - they'll chase you across a room if angry, and there's high a proportion of encounters that lead to bites (they're fast, with a biting mechanism that can piece shoes and jeans). The Sydney and tree varieties have been known to kill a human within 15 minutes, though everywhere in Sydney carries anti-venom, which has effectively prevented deaths since then. Nonetheless, ultra agressive spider that chases you, bites through shoes and jeans, and can kill within 15 minutes - pretty good poison if you want to kill someone, hey?

If we're talking self-intoxication I'd go either fine red wine, fine port, or sweet but simple cocktails (butterscotch snaps and milk, white/black russians, bundy and coke - that or straight single mark scotch if there's a good one available. I'm in my 30s, so the idea of drinking cheap crap I left behind many years ago. Otherwise, I'd say benzodiazipines - maybe xanax or rivotril. Medically cleared for both, and must NEVER combine them with alcohol, but used sensibly they're a nice relaxant if you want to curl up with a book and bliss out on a Sunday night. Don't want to get addicted to those things though - you can dy from benzo addiction, so it's worse than heroin addiction insofar as drug abuse goes. Mind you, kiddies there's nothing really worth 'abusing' about it - they're just calmatives. Being calm, relaxing and resting feels nice. That's it. No 'high' to speak off. Folks who get addicted are either heroin addicts using it to increase the effects, amphetamine addicts who need it to chill out and sleep, or idiots who'll take anything that mildly affects sobriety. For most people, you wouldn't want to 'abuse' it unless you actually needed it - in which case you should be able to find a doctor, where so long as you're honest and try the other options first, they'll prescribe it for you. Just need to make sure you're completely honest about your usage so you don't end up a waste of life.

I like a good session ale. Something you can drink comfortably over a decent amount of time, perfect for conversations and general casual drinking.
