There has never been any scientific evidence for the existence of something that could be called a 'ghost.' Of course there are numerous people who say that have seen them. But if that would be valid evidence, Elvis Presley would be still alive, the world would have ended about five times by now, thousands of people are God and the queen of England is an alien.

I'm horrified at the number of "yes" or "undecided" votes. We're (supposedly) gamers, who use cold, tactical analysis to brutally and efficiently kill our enemies without remorse or fear... but you believe in ghosts? What the...?!?!

I think its funny when people use the "we don't know everything" argument to justify why they're either fence sitting or believing. Maybe so, but we have common sense, reason and a process of using evidence, so far in the big court case of ghostiness i would say the nay crowd is kinda winning, short a smoking gun and that's it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPTDHEeLI0A as for this video, i thought it was rather badly acted and if that girl can really go for a piss in under half a second then i would giver her a medal myself, she leaves the room just to flush the chain, hmmmm. I say water rushing from cistern causes the old house's thin walls to shake making books fall causing the "asleep
p" girl and her sister to jump around for the camera. Before or started watching was expecting to be able to say, plastic bag, insect on lens or blur, but this takes the biscuit.

Ok then, may be ghosts are smart enough to avoid camera's then how come so man people people claim to see them, if i could walk through walls and i only appeared as a wispy gray transparent cloud i would find it easy to hide from people.

I do not believe in ghost and I never did.
Ghosts are nonsense and I was surprised that so many people had answered yes.
Believing ghosts is like believing in God, it's totally without scientific proof, which I think is needed for something to be taken seriously.
Everything needs scientific proof to be right? That is so damn close-minded.

Yeah, I believe in them. For the most part, they're harmless. Just, um, stay away from Native American burial sites if you're ever in Oklahoma. They tend to get angry if you come waltzing through their burial mounds and graves without permission.

And just because you've never seen something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I've never seen a million dollars, but I know that somewhere, someone has a million dollars.

Ghosts do not exist perse, but the sensation of "feeling a ghost does." It's just a lot of electromagnetic fields flaring at your brain. They once induced a girl an "episode" by hooking electrodes to her head. It was funny 'cuz she flipped out. "It was so real," she said, and also,"I felt a presence."

EDIT: In short: Ghost do exist, and they are in your brain, and nowhere else.

I don't really believe in ghosts, but I do believe in the possibility of "ghost sitings". Let me explain. A basic definition of ghost is "spirit thing that died and came back and does something because it has to do something that it wanted to do or needed to do in life". I do believe that we may be seeing something when we see a "ghost", but we aren't seeing the general concept of a "ghost". People may be seeing an electrical phenomenon, an undiscovered light property, or maybe something even as complex as an alternate dimension. That grandfather ghost you're seeing chilling in his old recliner may actually just be some old guy chilling in a recliner that just so happens to be at the same point on our plane. I'm not sure if I believe in alternate dimensions or not, but I believe in them more than I do ghosts.

First prove that a brown bunny eating a lizard didn't start the bigbang while doing a backflip after eating cheese.

I was just walking into my bedroom one day and I heard a deep voice say my name, my dad isn't around any more, my mom was taking a shower, and I don't see what else could have made that noise, so, yes, I do believe in ghosts

I had one in my old house. He was such a little buggar, he kept hiding my things. I called him Clive.

I'm more than certain there's one in the house I'm in now, things keep moving, especially when I need them. If there is one, I'll call him Peter.

I'm really spiritual though, so maybe that's the reason :p

ive had my fair share of strange encounters and strange things happening. so, why not. if their is life in life, and death in life, then why not life in death, and death in death.(when no one remembers you anymore)
