I'm a straight guy and there's only one man on earth that'd make me go gay for the night and that's Christian Bale. Now there's a handsome man!

Just wanna add that you gotta start off without too much body fat otherwise controlled diet and running is required. *slides on sweatpants* Speaking of running I think I'll take a jog.
Oh yes, forgot to mention I'm quite skinny already, being a growing 6ft 18 year old student, so your case will probably differ!

In my experiences, skinny guys like Cera are among the most likely to suffer the dreaded pancake ass.
Really? Ah well, my boyfriend clearly is the exception then. /insufferable

That's all fine, but remember my point:

If you made a thread about rating breasts and then a woman said that would be insulting if you were rated on something similar, then you have to go the whole nine yards in the similar category and go to the ONLY THING that is universally degrading about men just like breasts are considered universally degrading about women if they feel insulted by it.

So, you need to rate the genitalia.

And if THAT's the case, then my point is made quite clear... that we are actually quite sensitive... we just don't have what we're sensitive about in plain view unless we're naked.
Again to me it seems like your speaking *for* women saying that they are universally degraded by people judging their breasts. I know there are some that enjoy their breasts, its almost like you're implying they *should* feel degraded about their breasts.

Are you so sure?

I've never once heard of or about someone caring about how their vaginal area was structured, but I have heard plenty of men be embarrassed and or proud of their penile region and accompanying genitalia.

And... the breasts have gotten the same treatment.

So if we want similarity to what can embarrass us the most...
Well I have heard of women who have cared whether that area is normal. There are actually operations women have to make that area more 'perfect' because they think they are somehow 'wrong'.

While I accept your premise that some people will see that this is an indirect comparison, the fact is there is no direct comparison for a women's breasts. You say penis and ravenshrike pointed out thats not a direct comparison either considering that a women's vagina is a closer comparison to a penis.

That fact is that everyone has differing opinions on relative body images and comparisons. What I feel is that making blanket statements like 'women feel degraded about their breasts' or 'men feel degraded by their penises' has the potential to make those people who currently don't feel degraded wonder if they should. This is exactly where body issues start - peer pressure.

Edit: Fixed some spelling/grammatical errors

I like tall lean well dressed guys. I am a huge sucker for a button down shirt with a sweater over it and I like it when guys are taller than me (I'm 5'9").

Jason Statham is sexy as all hell, but I voted for the "average" build.

I also Like the skinny emo and goth types too.

I'm attracted more towards the girlier guys (build wise, not personality) and I also LOOVE traps O_O that would be an amazing relationship me thinks.
Traps as in
?

Also "masochistic alignsw" Is Captcha trying to tell me something?
Ahhh I see, still not sure how she is a trap but i see what you are going for
the original design document had her as female, but the designers didn't think that would go over well in the U.S. (they thought hitting women would cause giant media scandal) so they made him a crossdresser, didn't change the art though, so we get a hella sweet trap (somehow ignoring normal gender roles was supposed to go over better?)
...

Right...

I was curious what you meant by that, and I'm afraid I was right.

It's unfortunate though that being considered a 'trap' is seriously insulting to those of us it technically applies to...

(Also, poison has variously been attributed as being female, a crossdresser, a transsexual, and the Japanese term 'newhalf'... Given that these are all distinct things with their own issues andcircumstances that don't necessarily have much in common... One character being variously considered all of these things shows how little actual awareness there is of the issues involved.
Oh, and you've gotta love the twisted logic that says: "You can't hit women. Oh, it's ok... She's not actually a woman.". Because who cares about the idea of violence directed at a small minority group that suffers above average amounts of harassment and assaults even without extra encouragement...)

Ehm... Wow, that's way too serious. XD

If you'll excuse me, I'll be over there... Trying to blend in with the 'normal' people. ;p
oh dear, you're on the escapist, there are no normal people XD besides the game is from the 80s, you couldn't really expect any other way for such insanity to play out. now, to continue a serious discussion on acceptable nomenclature or not? that is the real question.
XD. Nah, I know not to expect too much from a game from the 80's. Especially one that has the misfortune of being mangled by the cultural sensibilities of multiple countries along the way.

The serious discussion is another thing entirely. XD

I'm not really sure I want to go there right now, but the issue with 'trap' insofar as it applies to my own life is that being a 'trap' implies trickery and deception with the explicit intent to cause some kind of harm to the person/animal/thing that sets off the trap...

I mean, I'm fine with it as a joke to be honest, but it otherwise contributes to the idea that not only am I somehow 'fake', but that the only reason I bother with such 'trickery' is to mislead and harm others.
(Which is very far removed from the reality even if you're talking about crossdressers.)

Anyway...

What was this thread about again? Ooh right. XD

Mmm. Yeah, I can see that. XD

(Also, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom... And eh...)

Actually, that reminds me that this poll makes me want to choose 'none of the above'.

I mean, I'm not particularly attracted to over-weight people. (I'm bisexual, so saying 'people' is rather deliberate), but in general I don't really care much about body-type. (In either sex).

If I really have to be honest about things that I find physically attractive, it's mostly people's faces.

I don't much care if you're skinny or muscular, big or small... But a person's face on the other hand...
well the term did originate in the homophobic depths of the internet...but I like it XD and the community has latched on to it so I'd personally be more concerned with what the ass holes do than say in this particular situation. there are some "predatory" traps...in porn XD (mmm, delicious pronz XD)
Yes... That's why I'm not too bothered by it in practice unless it's specifically being used in a malicious way. XD

As for porn... Well, a lot of weird things happen in porn. (And anime. - Unsurprisingly, some of the wierdest shit I've ever come across is therefore pornographic anime. XD. Which is just as well, because what little japanese porn I've come across that isn't animated is just plain disturbing. Rape isn't fun to watch when it's too convincing. >_<)

... Hmm... Yes... Speaking of...

Any idea who that is? (And yes, that is a trap. ;p) XD
my god if I didn't wanna rip that off for being incredibly gawdy, I'd wanna rip it off for different reasons XD. man I love this thread XD
XD. The costume there is very deliberate. This is a member of a band, and while he is the most feminine looking (ironic considering the band also contains two women), they all look equally... Dramatic, for lack of a better way of putting it. XD

Anyway, take it from me. Clothes are the easy part of this. XD. Facial features, hair (both that on your head, and body/facial hair), body structure... and uh... other things are usually a much bigger challenge to deal with. (Not to mention mannerisms. There's a very fine line between 'convincing', and 'joke'.)

Then again, careful choice of clothing can help hide things that would otherwise really stand out. XD
man so far off topic XD maybe I'll try it one day when I'm skinnier and have a good enough job that a full body wax doesn't cost two weeks pay XD cause I'm way too lazy to shave everything XD even if I don't fully body wax sound appealling cause body hair is gross >.>
Yes... VERY far off topic. XD

Uhm, yeah, body hair is pretty gross (and weird. - I mean, what's the point of it? XD Animals have fur to keep warm. But almost no-one has enough body hair for it to do anything useful...)

Now, when it comes to traps... Truth is, there are a lot of reasons why being a convincing crossdresser is a lot more difficult than the situation for a transsexual. (Unfortunate, because a crossdresser is far less likely to be offended by being called a trap.)

I mean, it's kind of obvious that hormones and surgery are going to make it easier for you to look convincing, (For one thing, if you're on hormones for a few years you'll have actual breasts. Something you'd otherwise have to fake).

But what's less obvious perhaps is that because a transsexual lives their life 24/7 as a member of their chosen sex, they have had to learn how to behave appropriately. That's not to say you get it right all the time, but you tend to learn what will, and won't make you stand out like a sore thumb. XD
(But that can come back to haunt you if you think about it too hard. Having to behave a certain way for fear of people noticing something about you undermines a lot of basic aspects of gender equality. That's an incredibly scary thing to contemplate at times.)

Why no option for "All of the above, so long as he's attractive"? I've dated slim men and squishy men, the near-skeletal and the buff. They all were attractive people who knew how to live well in the bodies they had, and some men simply are not attractive because they're uncomfortable in themselves and I'm not really one to mother my partner's ego. Also, I dislike the fact that you have "So long as he's loaded" in there yet nothing about other possible factors like a truly stunning face, hair, an attractive manner or personality etc. Just as I dislike other genders being reduced to "Hot body or not?" I think it does a disservice to men, and to those who like them.

I've been with guy who range from fat to skinny but I'd say I prefer the middle-ground.
I can't say no to a good pair of arms though, little bit of muscle but not scary.

Also, if a guy has slimmer legs than I do it's a no-no.

As a non-gay dude, I think the best looking guys out there are the slender yet muscular types. That means my vote goes to Jason Statham. Too much muscle mass and it looks like you're overcompensating for something.
