Would you like to see old games brought back with up to date graphics? If so what game would you most like to see this done to?
I personally like playing MGS they way it its and wouldn't change the graphics even if I could.
This too, nothing has come close to NFS 2-3:HP in my opinion.Zetona said:I'd love to see the pre-2000 Need for Speed games remade
A friend of mine said he'd never played MGS because of the graphics being bad by modern standards... needless to say I forced him to play it through and now he doesn't care so much about graphics. He learned that great games do not need high quality graphics.lewism247 said:¬_¬IrirshTerrorist said:Recently I was talking to another Escapist user (lewism247) we were discussing the 'Metal Gear Solid' series of games. I'v seen people refuse to play games because of poor graffics

Super Metroid; I agree, a newer version would be nice.Nimbus said:Super Metroid, with Crysis graphics?
I don't think it would be a bad thing, certainly...
At the very least, EA could have kept Rom Di Prisco, Matt Ragan, and Saki Kaskas on music duty and saved themselves a lot in licensing fees.Xeros said:This too, nothing has come close to NFS 2-3:HP in my opinion.Zetona said:I'd love to see the pre-2000 Need for Speed games remade
I enjoyed 'MGSPayJ567 said:Ah, the difference of opinion. I found the Metal Gear solid games to improve with age, granted I haven't played MGS4 but I have been playing the portable editions and Naked snake's games are far superior to Solid Snake's although this is just my opinion.IrirshTerrorist said:When it comes to games/movies/etc that I like I am a bit of a oureist and TwinSnakes sounds like it has to many changes.PayJ567 said:I don't know, But its bloody awesome a total revamp of the first gameIrirshTerrorist said:I don't have a Gamecube. "The Twin Snakes features graphical improvements over the original, new cut scenes written and directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, and gameplay functions originally introduced in the sequel Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. The game also includes a revised translation with re-recorded voice acting using most of the original English voice cast"
That paragraph tells me that they have changed so much that it just won't be the same experience.
