Hmm... My atheism would tell me that there is no afterlife, buuuuuut if I'm finding a spiritual being that obviously shows that I'm wrong, so I'll take the guaranteed place in the afterlife, don't even really know what I'd do with god powers... I guess I'd become unquestioned ruler of the world, but then I'd have nothing to complain about, and what fun is that?

God powers.

I'll use them to make an exact copy of myself with all my power at the moment I die, except that one will be truly immortal. Will that mean I live? No, I died, but I'm also alive. Does it mean I'm conscious? Probably, but who knows? Basically, since you didn't explicitly say I can't try to, and in fact succeed at, circumventing the rules, I'll find a way to.

I'm finding all the "i don't believe in an afterlife so why would i choose that" responses odd. I mean, you've literally just been personally contacted by a being that's come from there and seems legit. (I'm an atheist btw if you care).

I would choose the godlike powers thanksverymuch. As much as i don't like the idea of the party going on without me, I think not being able to leave the party would be much worse. Besides, with godlike powers I could change stuff in the world like eradicating poverty, killing dictators and other bad guys.

Infinite knowledge and power.

Firstly, remove the restricion of 100 years with the infinite power i've been granted.

Secondly, I'd make the multiverse the pinnacle of a utopia for all life.

Then rule it as a benevolent God. There's no point in being mean.

I will gladly take the powers. If there is in fact an afterlife, I suppose it will not matter since I would probably just get kicked out if I ever ended up there anyway.

With my god powers, I tear a hole through reality and go to the afterlife 99 years later, where I logically can't die.

If you can have anything you want in the afterlife, couldn't you have godlike powers?

Disregarding that little loophole, I'd probably go for afterlife, because even in my loved ones don't make it in, I'll likely be able to meet new people, and the pain of separation would dull down eventually.

I do not belive in afterlife so I will choose god powers.
Does this somehow imply that you believe in God Powers? Because that's even less plausible than an afterlife.

OT: Afterlife. Assuming eternity, I don't see how I could choose anything else.
GodLIKE powers eaven if there would be after life I would choose godLIKE powers.

So I get to live for eternity in an unknown afterlife or be all-powerful for 100 years then die and stay dead? The latter sounds perfect :3

The power. I can "live" with nothingness after I die.
I really have no other way to express that. I can accept nothinness after death?

Omnipotence. No question. The Christian god created the heavens and the Earth and everything on it in 6 days. Challenge accepted.
Seriously though, there's a lot I could do with omnipotence and 100 years. And no, none of this trolling "turn back time so 100 years never really passes" crap, I'd be legit. And when I die, I will know that I have done many good things. As well as some really dick-move things, some naughty things, some troll things, the list goes on.

The afterlife is the option for me.
I mean being all powerful and shit would be awesome and having/being nothing after you die can't be bad because it's... nothing...right?
But I once had a dream (I mean a dream when you sleep yes) were I died and the "afterllife" was actually nothing... and my brain couldn't handel the feeling of nothing so when I woke up I almost threw up and was sweaty like hell so I'd like to not think of that.

a) have the powers of a god. literally, any powers you want (with the exception of destroying planets, but seriously, why would you do that). you can also have all knowledge you want. you will be immortal, and your looks will be whatever you want them to be, but after 100 years, you will die. once you die, no matter what you did with your life, you just rot. no brain activity in the slightest, no afterlife, just nothingness.
This.

While some people find comfort in religions that promise an afterlife, for me it's an equivalent of hell. I'm actually quite happy with the idea that after death there's completely nothing.

What i'd with my power ? Erase from existence each and every person that values "the law" more than human beings. Yep, i guess it would be world free of corporations, lawyers, politicians and generals.
Also, i'd banish sadness and stiffness. :)

Easy decision for me. I'd take the God powers. Hell, I'd take the God powers even if I could only live another 20 years rather than 100. I'd rather rule over mankind and die permanently than be forever trapped within a society.

Well, if I choose god powers and the only thing I can't do is destroy planets... (Damnit, I wanted to destroy planets.)
Then I'll remove limits.
Including the planet-destroying limit and the time limit.
I'll also make myself non-physical most of the time.

Afterlife is evil.
Get God powers, make the world the most amazing place ever for EVERYONE, then go have fun.

God powers. I don't want to be around for eternity. Knowing me though I would use the powers to stop war and hunger then pretty much just for an unfair advantage on Xbox live.

Guaranteed place in the afterlife, sure I could accomplish a lot with the God powers but my choice is to think long term.

God Powers, although I'd probably go a bit of a step further. I'd literally hit the reset button on EVERYTHING, basically remake the surrounding galaxy and the world so that we're back in the Medieval time period. Basically, everybody who is still alive now will be alive there too but with new memories, experiences, skills. BUT! Before you grab the pitch-forks hear me out as there is going to be an added advantage here: I'll allow the existence of magic and for some humans to be able to wield it, make the earth a bit bigger and give it more land-mass then create a variety of other fantasy races (Elves, dwarfs, dragons, etc) who will also be able to use magic.

After all that's done though, I'd lay down a few commandments and then i'll basically just go down and live amongst others and live life normally. Considering Magic exists, it won't be that difficult to fit into this new world. After all, it would kind of suck just being an observer to a world like this.
