Poll: Gravity Gun or Portal Gun. What would you rather own?

I've always wanted a portal gun, but the real question is. How long would it take for me to get myself killed with it?

I mean, Momentum + Me + Ground = *Squish*.
So if I want to play safe i'd go with the Physics gun or the edit Dark Energy Field Manipulator (the blue one) and if i wanted to fly I'd go with the portal gun.

If you're about to go squish, just make another portal! Yeah, I could foresee myself moving at terminal velocity for the rest of my life after having the portal gun for like 5 minutes, because I'd make an infinite loop, then fly out of it, and be unable to slow down again without a chance of painful death.

just shoot a portal at water, it'll overflow and when you hit it you'll be fine.

If you've achieved terminal velocity, hitting water will still kill you. Also, you can't shoot a portal onto water, it has to be on a smooth, solid surface.

what? people survive and do that shit all the time?

but if that is true, then shoot the portal at a perpindicular angle stuck inside your angle, you'll have to slow down then. otherwise your stuck forever.

or shoot the portal at the ground next to the empire state building and so you pop up from the ground and gravity destroys that velocity and you can shoot a portal when you reach the top so you have near zero velocity going into the hole

Wow, that last one is crazy enough to work!

oh and i was wrong about that terminal velocity thing, i googled it and people have survived it, but its HIGHLY unlikely, so ill leave it at that that water is not a good thing for portal jumping...
