Majora's Mask. No Ganon. No Zelda. No Triforce.
Just you and an insane grinning moon evoking absolute terror and some weird kid who was made fun of one too many times reeling it in. It was such a brilliant move to put this concept in something like the Zelda series. You'll just be playing and thinking, "Oh! Link! Saving Hyrule, solving puzzles! I found gadget number 4! Duh-duh duh-duhhhhh! I can't be stopped now!" and then you'll go outside and there is that damn moon just inching closer. Its destructive intent frighteningly clear. The early South American influence was refreshing as well.
Just speaking of it makes me think of Clock Town.
