Why the fuck are we ignoring one of the greatest musicians in the history of mankind, in favour of a quite frankly terrible band! It's bullshit!

Why couldn't their songs just be DLC? You don't need to make a totally new game for Green Day. Then again, I don't play the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games, so I couldn't care less.

The general concensus is that this is going to be wank, and I have to agree. Joe Armstrong is not a particularly talented or skillful guitarist, and therefore any difficulty levels above, say, medium, will be redundant.
I am personally hoping for Guitar Hero : Buckethead. That would be straight up fun. You can unlock buckets and masks, have a boss battle with Les Claypool on an abandoned nuclear submarine and there will actually be some gameplay involved.

I would love to see how the whammy in king james would work.
OT:Any else get the feeling the songs for the game will be harder than the real songs?

First of all. A lot of people are complaining that there aren't games featuring Jimi Hendrix etc. That is because they don't want to sell the rights.
Second. Well, I'm kind of indifferent, it could be fun to watch all the fools rage about, you know like some of you are doing right now. I'm not going to buy it though, I don't even have Rock Band anyway....

Hey look, the exact same game again with different box art, music and the colors might come in a slightly different order, I say might 'cos I bet you could copy them all from the first game and it would take ages before anybody realized.

This is getting worse than sports sims and Mario, I have always had a hate for these rhythm games but this is getting ridiculous.

Once you have played one, you have played them all. You could slap any name on it, upload all there songs and put it on the shelves to make thousands.

Hmmmmm. Sure it will make money, but im not really sure Green Day's songs are Guitar Hero material. But then again they are popular.

Unfortunately I like neither Green Day nor the Rock Band or Guitar Hero games. I don't think I'll be picking this one up.
