XD Only if you played on Xbox LIVE.

Now though I play offline in the swing set of doom, sending cars flying with it.
Nah, never took it onto XBox LIVE. We just passed the controller around. XD

And I muck around now, testing how tough the cars are. From what I've found, a Minivan is more durable when compared to a Huntley Sport. XD

I like getting the Moped and doing stunts on the half-pipe, which works well.

For me, Niko Bellic made it for me. Most compelling character I've ever played as. Some say he was bland and uninteresting, but I thought he was a cynical everyman determined to drag himself out of the shit in a city full of it, and who generally just did not give a f#ck. Great voice acting.

I guess I just suck at driving games so much I didn't notice the bad physics. My bad.

I found the original story to be boring while the balled of gay Tony was extremely enjoyable. It's a great game and it being semi realistic is fun although the original (non dlc) lacked a lot of features from older games such as bikes and planes etc.

I'll have to try that out. I'm still looking for new ways to hurt Niko. And I also like how everyone else is talking about the story, voice acting and that, we're just chatting about how we've found ways to dick about.

I played it and finished it. It was a pretty fun game, the characters were amusing and the story was'nt bad but I never really enjoyed the GTA series that much.

Couldn't stand the driving, too frustrating.

GTA Vice City will always be my favorite. Sports cars everywhere

True, I've never played a GTA for the story. Although I can vaguely remember I got kinda hooked into San Andreas story. Then I found the hover-craft. :D

It's a really weird game for me to talk about because in all honesty it's not very fun to play. The mechanics are stiff, everything from driving to shooting to walking, and the social system sound like a great idea on paper but you end up having to sink way too much time into it. If you're just looking for something to PLAY, look somewhere else.

And yet it's still one of my favorite games of all time.

The storytelling is in a class all it's own. The writing is strong, frequently jumping back and forth between hilariously ridiculous and appropriately dramatic and doing both excellently. The characters are all unique and fascinating to watch play out their lives, and the superb voice-acting gives them all an air of believability and humanity.

On top of that, Liberty City is incredibly detailed for such a large location, and with no loading screens and few borders it ends up feeling like one of the most convincing locations ever featured in a game.

So if you're just looking for a good time, I'd say try Saint's Row 2. It's way crazier. But if you're after a deeper, more atmospheric experience, GTA IV is probably one of the best titles you're going to find.

I need to play it with a friend again really...

Though I must say...I totally hated the heli's.

I thought the story was very well done. There were quite a few moments of pure disbelief but still, it's a fun game for sure.

I played it. It's fun, but I could never finish it, the story hits a slump about a third of the way through and just never gets out.

I finished the game and I played Multiplayer for a bit. Yup, I played it and I thought it was completely overrated.

It's an OK game, nothing more, nothing less.

And for the record, I completed the last mission in 5 or 6 tries. Very frustrating, but nothing serious once you get the hang of it.
