Yeah this poll is rediculous. So you don't like the band concept? No one cares. Don't buy the band kit. They sell JUST the guitars so you don't have to pay for things you don't want. Me yeah I got the whole kit cause my kids like playing the drums. Me I never touch em, can't stand em, and I don't sing. The design of the guitar's could have been better so until my old one I got with GH3 breaks I'll keep usuing that one cause I like it better.

Oh and I'm not going to yet but I might be bringing up to a moderator about your choices for this poll. They're bordering on insulting because someone might not agree with you.

Amen brother! ('cept I've been distrusting the Guitar Hero name since Red Octaine went with Neversoft and started whoring out Guitar Hero like there was no tomorrow.) How many games have they released since they merged? Lemme check....Wikipedia list at least eight (Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, Guitar Hero World Tour, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero Carabiner, Guitar Hero III Mobile, Guitar Hero: On Tour, Guitar Hero III Backstage Pass, Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades, and Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile.) No wonder the series feel stale and old already!

Guitar Hero is fun... it doesn't matter that they blatantly copied Rock Band, that doesn't stop it from being fun.

I never claimed this to be any sort of review, and i didn't post any real reasons cause you can all, obviously, think of those yourselves. These were the reasons i started to hate GHWT for. back when i found out about it months ago. i never personally looked into the rest of it tho, cause i never did plan on getting it. I do believe i have the right to post all the stupid posts i want. yes i realize they are the same creators. also, i was in one of those moods when i posted this. My friend got the money together and said "would you rather me get GH or RB" he knew what my answer would be cause he knew how i felt bout GH. so he went got that anyways. ok his money. he can do what he wants. but then both him and his sister get pissed off at me because i refuse to play it, which i told them i would before they wasted the money. "but we have 3 instruments, we need 3 people" well they should have gotten a game i would have liked to play. so it was just a simple minded rant. i realize this, and well, too bad. i will post stupid rants all i want. and i dont care if you like it or not. and i spelt aerosmith wrong cause im not an aerosmith fan, so i cant be expected to know how to spell it right. and of course the poll options arent "fair". it was a rant. rants are one sided. therefore shouldnt the poll be onesided?

I have GH: World Tour. It has some good songs, and it didn't change that much from the other games in the series.

The last GH game I bought was 3. I tried to like it, I did. I bought GH1 on the first day it came out and not even the guy at EB Games knew anything about it. I loved it and GH2 stands as my personal favorite. Rock the 80's was ok, but then when GH3 came out, I simply fell out of love. It felt stale and the battle mode thing was a joke.

Rock Band revived my interest for a short time, but with both RB and GH3 it seems I have to play through 3 or 4 songs I either don't know and/or I don't even like before getting to one that I love.

Screw DLC, if I pay that much for the game and the instruments it better come with a ton of bonus songs that I can download at my whim and not have to play through 20 emo/crap songs to unlock.

i don't agree with you, and it's not because i'm a mindless sheep or stupid. personally, i prefer Rock Band, but it's mostly due to aesthetic reasons... i think that avatars in GH: WT are butt-fugly... plus, it doesn't have the variety of DLC....

Nope. This probably deserves a report too. Fine, you feel screwed over because your friend picked what he thought you might have wanted him to pick. You say you liked GH:Aerosmith even though in your rebuttal you say you hate them and misspelled it to prove a point. Your post takes things so literally that it becomes idiocy and the poll answers just make you seem an ass. I have the game, play it, liked it. Slight issue with the guitar and drums, but the game works. Some complaints with the songs they put in it and it seems too easy to me at times. The game is not as good as GH3 in my opinion when it simply comes down to the songs.

Now to the point: You feel screwed over and you have my sympathy. It probably makes you feel like shit because this happened, but this thread kinda makes you seem a fool. Now feel free to scream at the the best you can using text.
