I generally don't bother because nobody wants to see my bare skin anyway, so it's always covered up. If it's a special occasion I'll depilate, because I'm rather hirsute by nature and that amount of fuzz just isn't socially acceptable.

I think its a bit harsh to expect a woman to shave her entire body every day, but big hairy beavers.....yuck.

I work with a guy who actually has a fetish for that sort of thing.
What do you call masturbating over a European woman's crotch?

Beating around the bush.

Personally, I do prefer shaved legs and armpits. As for the groin area, I don't mind a bit of hair as long as it's neat. Given the choice, I'd say shaved though. Makes my job easier and prevents me having to pick a stray hair out of my mouth...

Male and it depends on the season. I sweat noticeably less when I shave my armpits, arms and legs, so I usually do during the summer. Although I prefer using hair removing mousse like Veet or whatever for my legs. Those are a pain to shave. Rest of the year, the warmth provided by my natural fur coat is quite nice here.

EDIT: And as regards women, I'm totally fine with a hairy woman. Moustache is the only hair that bothers me on a woman. I'm even fine with slightly hairy ass. Oddly enough, I prefer my men entirely hairless except for the head.

Male here. Since I was 15 i've removed body hair from certain places, not because of any outside pressure, but because it feels better for me. At one time I only had my eyebrows, but htat looked weird, so I have some pubic hair now. What I don't get as a male is men shaving their face every day, now that's a societal pressure that takes a lot of time.

Regarding women I prefer them lightly trimmed, no hair on chest, legs or in armpits. Not to make them look like little girls (as a lot of people seem to think) but because I hate hair getting stuck in my mouth. Not pressure to shave, but I tend to follow the rule that tongue and hair don't mix.

I'm a guy, and I only shave my face. I would consider trimming down other areas if asked, but as it is I don't care enough to bother myself with it.

Fine with hairy women, as long as it's kept well.
On pubic hair: I believe it was Hank Moody who said something like "as long as there's some indication I'm dealing with an adult", which suits me fine. Don't like it bald.

Meself I just shave my beard and some grooming in the nether regions for sexual reasons.

I'm in a relationship where body hair stays aside from trimming. If I were in a relationship that required something more of course I would act accordingly.

Oh damn, entered my option into the poll before reading the OP. I put "yes if pressured" before reading that the pressure is from society. That'd be a no. I assumed the pressure would be from a girlf, which if she really wants I'd go along with.

I'd find a hairy woman repulsive.

Edit: Bearded man here.

Male here, personally I only shave my face as I see no reason to shave anything else. If I had a partner who demanded it, I suppose I would comply but I wouldn't be that happy about it. Kind of a hypocrite I suppose as I prefer women to be shaved all over including the nether regions, sorry anyone who disagrees but I'd be lying if I said I liked hair down there.

I would find it disgusting.

Besides, I take off my own pubes, keeps things nice 'n' fresh.

Honestly, I don't expect anyone to shave on a regular basis. It's been largely a construct of advertising since the turn of the last century.

Shrug girl, hate underarm hair and want to shave my legs as I find it itchy and annoying otherwise but that's probably due to the fact i've been doing it so long i prefer it.

My boyfreind shaves his face occasionally and I only really ask him to shave when it comes a bit too hobo like. Other than that I don't really mind.

I'm a dude, and I only shave parts of my face. The rest gets trimmed, don't worry, I'm not a monster, but I am one hairy dude.

As for the ladies, I tell em to do as they please. It's their hair, not mine.

As a really shy female, I always remove all the unnecessary hair. Mainly because hairy legs don't look so great and because my organism has way too mush testosterone, which guarantees rapid hair growth. I have to remove my dark hair even from arms, if I were blond, I wouldn't have such problem -.-

Wow some things surprise me. I get rather irritated tones from people for holding doors open for women, but no hate for the hair haters... LMAO people are strange lol

I don't care either way, Doesn't matter how you appear physically, if i think a woman is a ***** then i won't find her attractive anyways.

Yet i've met many women over the years, who appeared quite plain upon first glance, but once i'd gotten to know them, and how awesome they are, i find them more physically attractive.

So the opposite is true for me too, the more awesome you are, the more physically attractive you will be; hair or no hair.

Bleh... this probably came out sounding all wrong.

Hair = The owner of said hair's choice.

As a man I have no preference if a woman shaves or not. It is her choice. If pressured by a significant I would shave myself bald with the exception of "The Beard" it stays.
