Poll: Halo 3, best in series?

Still the first game, I even prefered it's multiplayer to the others (though I do like firefight), those were the days, having to lug my massive Xbox around..... *sighs* games were better in my day.

Meh, I do think Halo 3 is the best, had lots of fun moments with it, even when playing on Legendary, and the multiplayer has just so awesomely refined since Halo 2. And Forge and Theatre modes kick ass.

Seriously why the hell did you include a "They All Suck" option? I don't care if you're new but I'm sure you put that option just to see how many people would flame the game.

I didn't really like the Halo series, but I never got a chance to play the second one for more than a couple hours.

Halo 2 had some of the best campaign sequences/cutscenes (I liked fighting on Earth). Still, I think Halo 3 or ODST was the best.

I'll agree Halo 3 is the best in the series but in a way it is worse than Halo CE as when it first came along in 2001 it was really revolutionary (for the consoles) but by 2007 Halo 3 just couldn't have the same impact.

So a kind of yes and no.

The original (For PC) gets my vote. Best story, none of that bloom shit. And in the PC version, there's Custom Edition for Multiplayer, which is awesome. Plus the online community doesn't suck balls.

For single player? Combat Evolved.

For Story? ODST

For Multiplayer? Halo 2.

In short Halo 3 falls second in most of these catagories and despite it being a good game, it is far from the best one in the series.

Halo 2 had better multiplayer, Halo: Combat Evolved had better single player. Halo 3 has the most features, but lacks in gameplay to it's predecessors.

why does everyone hate halo?
you can try to be all intelligent, and babble about artisticness and characterisation and other things you didnt really care about till yahtzee came along, but they are not bad games
H:CE was at least original, if it did repeat itself a couple times in the form of 2 and 3

Its hard to say. I play halo 1 at school with my friends all the time (I own of course) and I paly halo 3 online occasionally at home and I cant help but feel like the first is more fun to play, maybe its because their isnt so many options to be undesided and fiddle with, and I notice that the maps are more expansive, simple, and fun as well.
