Jorge. His character was the only really developed one. He was like a big teddy bear with an awesome 'stache.
Followed by Emille.
...his death actually made me cry.

His death scene was really badass. "I'm ready! How 'bout you?!"
Emil, then Jorge, Jun, me, Carter, and Kat. In that order.
I just think Emil is a really cool chaacter, and the skull is awesome. He went out like a boss, and his personality I think was the best. His death was also my favortie, and for some reason got the least attention... which works fine, because he died in a really cool way. Already dead, stabbed through the chest, but his last act is to just turn around and stab him back. That man had balls.
Jorge next tho, cuz of his awesome gun.

First of all, it was "Carter", second of all, neither. The character development in Reach was piss poor, save for Jorge, who somehow seemed to pick up where the others missed.I Resurection I said:

Jun, purely because he was the most useful. I raged hard at Emile's ineffective shotgun on the last mission.
Bah, foolish Spartans. The might of the Sangheili view you only as filth, that you may be burned and torched from existence!!!

I'm tempted to say Kat because it's so nice to finally have a female Spartan in the story and especially one with a thick clearly non American accent. But at the same time she didn't really do all that much apart from just be the second in command, I admit though her death did push me into a moment of saddened shock.
Also must give mention to Jorge because he was an awesome giant British man with a huge mini gun and his death saddened me the most simply because it really did strike a chord in me that this time, death was inevitable.
I can't honestly pick a favorite but it's probably out of those two.

Sure, the characters in Reach are better than in other Halo games but that's really not saying much.Jroo wuz heer said:

I'm gonna go with Six. The rest of Noble team were just various shades of cheese, ranging from the fairly bland Carter to the horrendous walking cliches that were Jorge and Emile. At least because Six had very few lines the player can imprint whatever personality they want to on him/her (which I suppose is the point).
if you watch the cinematic's near the end a transport crashes after being shot at and i believe that Jun was on that transport. but it could be like HALO: 3 when there is something special happens for an ending cinematic for defeating legendary so in the legendary cinematic he could live.
Still my favorite was Emile, i know he was arrogant but i believe that he made the 4th greatest sacrifice and after being injured by an energy sword he still fights off elites and was trying to desperately to keep in the turret and to save you. but he failed
but he died trying to save you and everyone, and then you take his place... tis a very sad and amazing story, reading Dr Hadley's Journal while playing the game is such an amazing experience that all must try.

i know ive rambled on but i just really love the HALO: REACH game and story. its probably one of the only games that have really gotten to me, out of every game its the only one that made me actually cry... except from COD MW2 when Ghost dies. :'(
Sorry for rambling to my final statement is i thought you made the ultimate sacrifice and i hope people yet to buy and/or finish the game will have the same experience as me.

Emile was supposed to be a closed book, he was the strong, back-chatting, rouge who was unknown but still made an amazing impression in NOBLE teamSmilingKitsune said:
