I do get the feeling there was a Six/Emile partnership that got cut from the game somewhere before. Still, having Six and Emile outliving practically everyone else (Bar Jun, the filthy coward) was pretty awesome. And I do love Emile. Maybe he was a stereotype, but without stereotypes, we'd have the world's blandest team.SmilingKitsune said:I didn't dislike the character, and I understand he was supposed to be a mysterious badass. Kat and Jun where very cool too, though Carter was a little too standard to make any deep impression.
Emille seems to only be around for a few missions, and seems the least fleshed out of the bunch, he has a nice helmet though.
He's in the first mission, then he doesn't really make a major appearance again untill the end.
I have nothing against archetypal characters. What I was really trying to say wasn't that he was a dull character, but that he felt like he wasn't in the game as much as he should have been.Thyunda said:I do get the feeling there was a Six/Emile partnership that got cut from the game somewhere before. That's Carter. He's a pretty average dude. He likes to watch Friends.
That over there is Kat, she's also pretty average, but she plays World of Warcraft.
You do kinda need to at least hint at stereotypes, otherwise you get very dull characters.
That was a 'my bad' right there. I intended to point out that wasn't an argument against you, but I got sidetracked and just hit post. I got kinda rambly when I was saying something else.SmilingKitsune said:I have nothing against archetypal characters. You're not really fighting side by side with him untill the end.
Also I wouldn't say Jun was a coward, Carter ordered him to stay with Halsey, have to wonder where he went though.
Uhh dude its Carter not Charter.I Resurection I said:I personally like Emile the best but I also really liked Charter
ill take you there but i still like him the best for some reason...SmilingKitsune said:I didn't dislike the character, and I understand he was supposed to be a mysterious badass.
