I don't really want to have a hardcore mode in Skyrim. It fits with the Fallout series but not Elder Scrolls, the slider difficulty works just fine imo.
Hardcore mode doesnt just add to difficulty. It adds to immersion.
Drinking water, sleeping, eating food etc.
Yeah but it also added weight to ammo (there's no guns or ammo in Skyrim obviously so that's out), radiation (only fallout obviously), and something else that I can't think of at the moment but those things are what really made hardcore mode kind of difficult, or at the very least more difficult.
I guess what I'm saying is because of that, it would be kind of pointless to add that mode since stuff like drinking water, sleeping, eating food were very easy to maintain anyway. Seriously I was able to not sleep for many days and my sleep meeter is not even half way there. Water was everywhere just like Skyrim there would be a ton (only not radiated), and food would be even easier to find or even make since we have alchemy, and even without that it's pretty damn easy.
Unless they somehow change how fast your character gets tired, hungry, thirsty, etc. I don't see the point in that.
