Poll: Has a game ever made you cry?

If so, what was the last game that made you cry? And why? Was it because of some traumatizing experience, tears of joy/rage/sadness, or because someone burned down that giant wooden mansion you were building in Minecraft? Post a comment and explain!

Every time was because of sadness, although Demon's Souls really got me close to crying out of anger. Thankfully I always ragequit before I do so.

NieR, Final Fantasy V/VI/VII(shut up)/Crisis Core, Dragon Quest V. Mother 3 was a huge disappointment though. I heard everyone cried over the ending, but I barely felt anything.

final fantasy and heavy rain (good god heavy rain..) made me cry and feel so depressed after some long sessions in those games. fuckk. i felt like such a damn wuss after that.

but playing games on hard mode or beating certain games do give me a massive "FUCK YEAH!" moment where i fist pump and have a few tears of triumph

Videogames have never affected me in that way, probably because I'm still pumped up from all the killing.

Mass Effect, several times:

- When I accidentally killed Wrex. I teared up a bit, then went and re-loaded my last save. I did the entire effing planet again just so I could save him, and was he grateful? Was he bollocks.

- When Saren was being all "I'm sorry I guess I was being mind-controlled derp" and I made him shoot himself.

- The ending when Shepard is stood staring off into the middle-distance. I think I was just upset to have finished such an epic game.

Final Fantasy XIII's ending very nearly did.

When hope was all "sadface" when Fang and Vanille were nowhere to be seen. I wasn't sad because Hope was sad, it was because I liked Fang and Vanille.

I finished it at 3AM, thus having the volume really low because everyone was sleeping, thus not hearing the cutscene properly. If I could hear it all, with the music and everything, I probably would have had a bit of a man-cry.
Which is totally more acceptable than regular crying.

Again, Mass Effect & 2 several times.. Those games are epic beyond proportion. BioWare is the new Homer.

Endings of Persona 4, Final Fantasy X and XIII almost made me cry. Also, Kingdom Hearts. Half because of the ending, half because I finished the game. But never really shed a tear :/
