Eh, I can usually well up some slight emotion regardless of what I'm watching if I think about it too much. I comes hand in hand with being quite devoid most of the time.
Depends on if there's a good story line. I didn't do much except for think "that's bloody awesome" when I was dragging around my half-dead soldier after the nuke in CoD4, but I managed to get a bit of relatability with the character of Brutal Legend (of all things), to give a bit of insight.
Of course, that was nearer the end when the story got more diluted and I was trying to make it more interesting for myself by putting myself in the mindset of the characters. I mean seriously, did the writer's budget run out after you kill Lionwhite in that game? You spend less than half the game against the real enemies.
The same thing happened in Avatar when I got seriously bored. Half way through a talky bit about horse-things or something I started imagining the strife which these giant smurf's must have gone through and so it begins.

Yes in planescape torment

when you have to give morte to the pillar of skulls in order to learn about your past, I was so relieved when I was able to get him back

Yeah, me too, I didnt cry but Planescape Torment overall affected me pretty deep.

This sounds really stupid...but honestly, when I saw Liberty Prime died in Fallout 3, I just broke down in tears and started shooting things like crazy.
Here's how it went:
Me:*following Liberty Prime and blasting everything that has a funny smell*
Liberty Prime:*suddenly gets blasted to death*
Me:.....
Me:...LIBERTY PRIIIMMEEE!!!!*pulls out Gauss Gun and just starts blasting everything that is in existence*
I did the exact same thing! Instead of the gun I used the 'Vampire's Edge' sword (super pumped up with drugs - of course). T'was pretty emotional!

Oh, I did the same thing when the guy I was fighting next to died in the final battle of TES IV.

Gears of War trailers, games and one awesome book.
It's the ONLY thing I've EVER felt emotionally attached to in the video game industry.
Which is weird, because its all MACHO and GOOORRRR.

Yep, Mass Effect 2. I was like a little baby after I finished it for the first time. I still get a little choked up when I watch this trailer.

Metal Gear Solid 3 and MGS4: Guns of the Patriots.

With MGS3, it was the room full of people celebrating Jack, followed by him visiting the grave site of The Boss...fantastic stuff. This is an example of when Kojima does it right, it's not convoluted or overtly long, it was absolutely appropriate.

With MGS4 it was the end of an era, Snake (and his story) finally comes full circle. It was a bit long, but again appropriate giving that Snake's legacy isn't the easiest to wrap up, you've got to close up a story arc that takes 40 to 50 years, so I didn't ***** like a lot of people.

After it's completely over, I always imagine Snake going back to Alaska mushing dogs, hanging out and havin some drinks with Otacon, or maybe finding some Inuit girl. Just living a peaceful life with the time he has left.

Oh god yes.
Plus, at the end of ME1, with the big ship fight, every time I saw a ship that looked like the Normandy get blown up, I had a little jump, until I saw the crew again.
And sort of ME2 end spoilers
Seeing Garrus get shot in the chest, freeze up, and take a big breath, while Shepard ran over to him made me gasp, but seeing Garrus just say "ready for action, Commander" and Shepard pat him on the arm made me more pumped up than ever before.

But I think the closest I got to crying was in Metro 2033 when
one of your comrades dies while trying to escort a scientist. Pretty sure I've said this before, but basically, I was right next to him, saw another monster come, thought he could deal with it, since I thought he was invincable. Then seeing it dominate him and bite him to pieces as I shot it and shot it and even stabbed it made me feel genuinly sad. I felt as though I had failed, and a human life was taken because of me. I actually had to pause and take a few seconds to remind myself it was just a game.

No game or trailer has ever made me cry, but the closest a game has ever come to making me cry was the ending of Red Dead Redemption. Even then, it wasn't even close.
