Books music have both had that effect. Music is a bit stronger. There are some pieces I've listened to that have really moved me.

SPOILERS:

I was reading the Casino Royale novel and at the part when Vesper dies, I was listening to the film's soundtrack, specifically "Death of Vesper". That had me crying.

Music does though I cannot think of the top of my head the last time I did. Perhaps the first time I heard the album 'I am a boy now' by Antony and the Johnsons.

TV, the last time I cried was when starbuck 'died', or The end of season 2 of DR Who. Whatever was shown later.

Haven't cried at a movie or any form of entertainment since I was 7.

It's called "Man", try it some time ;P
Nah, its ok to do that. Men just have to be emotional voids when it comes to real life situations.

Viva La Vida. Choked me up a lot since it reminded me a lot of my brother after I left Canada. I miss my brother.... :( He's in college, I just miss him a lot.

Many times.
Those I can remember:
Little Miss Sunshine
Mulan (I was sleep-deprived at the time, admittedly)
Goodnight Mr. Tom (the book)
The ending to Mother 3

Anyone ever watched a bridge to terabithia?

This. Just... This.
That film is one of the most depressing things ever.

Yes to all four of those media. And there are too many examples to list. Call me a sissy or call me someone who's in touch with their emotions, I cry a lot. And for reasons that may be alien to a lot of people.

My eyes have watered to Forest Gump. Didn't quite get to crying, but I could've let it happen.

Also, god-DAMN that's a good soundtrack. I'm too lazy (Also, kinda drunk) to start a new thread and don't want to sidetrack this one, but if anyone can think of a better soundtrack (Excluding music/movie things like Yellow Submarine), or wants to start a thread about that, or searches and finds a thread about that, message me.

I always manage to let out a single manly tear, red-Indian style, during the final chorus of Viimeinen Tuoppi

I cried at the part in "Where the red fern grows" when the dogs get mauled by a mountain cat and die. Funny thing is is that if I were to see it on video, I'd probably laugh.

Play any sad song, especially Warmness on the Soul (Avenged Sevenfold), when I'm drunk and that's enough to make me cry. That and the end of Titanic (Spoiler: It sinks. Oh, and occasionally that bit in the Rugrats movie where there's a dance for all the kids and their mum's but Chuckie has no one to dance with.

Show's how powerful the media really is.

Of Mice and Men was emotionally crushing at the end.

And has anyone watched Click? A child comedy that has one of the most depressing endings I've ever seen.

Not so much cried as felt really, really depressed, like in Serenity (SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING!) when Wash died, that made me feel so damn sad. My favorite character, on the day that I already had many reasons to be sad on, or at least vaugely depressed. Damn. Also in books when a character you felt a connection to just dies. Instantly, and you cna;t really belive it. A bit like Wash then. Oh well. (SPOILER WARNING OVER. SPOILER WARNING OVER)

However, sometimes, I feel that it is nice to be unhappy, to hate everything for a while, and then go kill something.

And the sad bits in kids films never get me, because they are ALWAYS RESOLVED FOR THE BEST.
Plus, I have never seen Bambi. I was the kid who was watching Star Wars over and over at 3. I even saw the originals at the cinema, when they did the 25th anniversary.

I appear to have gone of topic. Right, to reitterate: I don't cry, just get sad.

The shit I've heard on UK radio is enough to make any man kill himself, or have a teary breakdown.
