1st Generation X-Box 360
Lasted for 2 years. Got ROD. Fixed it at home by replacing the clamps with screws and those plastic pegs and lasted another year YAY!
Now it boots but it cannot read any game DVD (However I still can play games from the hard drive)

Yes.
But it was a ps3. It wouldn't update after I switched out the HDD to a larger one so they said it had to be sent in. However, it was still covered in-store so I just brought it back and got a new one. Some of my backup saves didn't work (their system backup tool is useless in that regard) but other than that it was just an inconvenience.

My PS2 lasted me faithfully for about six years, then stopped reading disks about a month before the PS3 came out.

I'm on to you Sony...

my friends PS3 died last week and he lives nearly 30 miles from me, also my Gameboy SP, sigh, I missed my SNES ports, like donkey kong and yoshi's island, then I just bought a micro the next year

My first PS2 stopped working after about 6 years. Something broke in the disk tray and it was scratching up all my disks. So I got a slim and everything was fine. Now I have a PS3 and have never had any problems with it.

My first gen PSP lasted from December 2004 until June of 2009. It will be missed. =[
My actually consoles are all alive and well though (for now).
