My Xbox 360 red-ringed last year due to me not realising that it was baking temperature in my unventilated room. When I'm into a game, nothing can stop me.
Last month I wanted to show a friend the original Super Mario 64, but I got no power. My dad says the power cord port is fried and he's gonna fix it some day.
some day...

something tells me hes not gonna... :\
Nah, he will do it. Just as long as i ask it to him every week or so. He has a busy life and easily forgots the chores around the house.
LOLOLOL that might work then XD

I've had an N64, NES, Wii, Xbox, Xbox360 and Wii and none have died on me at all. Apparently we had a Sega as well when I was two that died on us but I can'r remember that far back so I'm not sure that counts.

I've never had a console 'die' on me before...

I have, however, gone through 3 Gamecubes due to... my mother's dog having to been properly house broken..

So.. Yeah...

My NES died about 3 years ago. I suspect it could be fixed, but nobody bothered to check what was wrong or try to get it repaired. My parents still have it somewhere I think. My Xbox is still working, 5 years in and with a fair bit of rough treatment though, which is nice.

had all my consoles (even launch day 360) all of them still up and running. The drive in my 360 seems to be wanting to go out, which is ok with me, I want a newer one anyways, gives me a reason to get the halo reach one lol.

I've had three 360 die on me.

The first one lasted about four months then died in April of '07 it was replaced in September.

The second one died in May of '08 was replaced in June.

The third one died March of '10 it came back to life two weeks later then died then came back to life, it just keep doing this,
so it's zombie that keeps dying every week and coming back to life a few hours later.

Oh, and I also had a Dreamcast die, I don't remember when that was.

My oldest I still have is a first-gen Gameboy. Still runs. Motherfucking tank.
I've still got one of these too. They're like bricks you can probably build houses with them.
I think I've actually seen something like that somewhere, possibly on Geekologie. You may wanna check it out.

I had one of the early Xbox 360s it lasted about 3 months if I remember correctly and then red-ringed, and this was before the huge thing about the RROD started so I had no idea what the hell happened to it. I now have one of the new editions and it's lasted me a good 3 years.

My PS3 YROD'd after 2 years and it took 2 days for Sony to send me a free replacement of the exact same model (60GB Backwards Compatible model!)

Thanks Sony! :)

The Wii. Lasted 3 years. Got it back in less than a week after shipping it next day. Nintendo discounted the charge, gave me a year warranty and 1,500 Wii points.

The Xbox 360. 2 months after buying it. e74 and Microsoft said my warranty was up after I received it from repairs.

I had an xbox 360 die.

But it wasn't rrod, the video card failed.

MS replaced it for free so I wasn't too mad.

My 360 has died and has an allergy to 3rd party hardware, other then that given though my only dead console was my PS2 which sadly crapped out and never worked again.

My first PS2 lasted 8 years. After that, it stopped reading the disks, so I went out and got a new one.

true that, it is a fucking brick, that shit got thrown after (im almost embarrassed to say this) my toy story game froze up on me as a child, i was RIGHT AT THE END and tried oh a good 50 times or so and it froze mid air with the nasty freezing sound *clclclclclclclccllc* and threw it as hard as i could across the concrete...still works like a pro.
