My 360 graphic card thing melted (not RROD suprisingly).

I got a new one about 2 weeks later because I just had my birthday so I had enough money to get a basic one.

I salvaged my hard drive as well so I had all my stuff and a spare pad, giving me 3 now.

I also got SEGA superstar tennis with it and still avnt even touched it 8 months on.

Our Xbox 360 died twice, and the second time was one week after the warrenty expired.

My college laptop also died two years after I got it (few months after warrenty expired). It had taken a lot of abuse though, but I wish it hadn't died the same day I had to start college again. :(

On my forth or fifth 360, I lost count after each one RROD'd me after a year. However, my current second hand Elite has lasted 1 and a half years with only a disc reading error. Quite a brick, is that.

Yes, my last 6 Xbox 360s. Excuse me while I got Microsoft's headquarters on fire.
Woah, are you serious?

I got my xbox the 1st april of the release, and it RRoDed once, and it was 2-3 years after it came out. Been fine ever since.

None of my consoles have ever really died, had to replace my Game Boy Colour and first Laptop though, but that's only because the screen had smashed and keyboard had broken respectively.

My Dreamcast died about 2/3 years after getting it, just after they announced they were going to stop supporting the console, meaning I couldn't get it fixed or replaced without getting it used.Playstation 2 chunky died about 2/3 years after getting it, the drive scanner went I think. My 360 which I got on launch near enough, RROD about 2 and a half years or so after, got it repaired, and then it finally died without repair 1 and a half years following that, at the start of this year, had to replace it with an Arcade.

Only ever had a problem with my old PS1. Nothing since has crapped out on me and I've had em all.

I'm either lucky, or I take good care of my shit.

My oldest I still have is a first-gen Gameboy. Still runs. Motherfucking tank.
I've still got one of these too. They're like bricks you can probably build houses with them.

I've lost a PS3 (replaced in less than a week, and it was the week before Christmas too and outside of warranty). Two 360's, the first took about two weeks to replace (might have been 3, it was a while ago). My second died only a few months ago, and I have not had it replaced as my housemate thought it would be a good idea to try to fix it himself and voided my warranty.

Nope, every console is still working fine. Even the Sega Mega Drive is still working and I've bought it 14 years ago and it was already used.

my NES, SNES, Sega Mega Drive (Genesis in the USA), N64, Gamecube and Wii have all lasted until i sold them. never had any trouble. my GBA lasted a few years but the down button broke so i got an SP and sold the GBA to a mate who managed to fix it. seems like i've been lucky

Erm, the first ps2 I hd died after about 4 years. the second died after like 5, and the third, a nice slim one, still works fine but sometimes doesn't like playing movies. My first 360, the original one back when the biggest harddrive yu could get was 20G and Blazing Angels was one of the only games, died after about 3 1/2 years. the one I have now, standard arcade with the hard drive added, runs fine.
EDIT: My original XBOX died after 5 years, my other one just died too but it was preowned, we had it for like 3 years or so and I don't know how long it had been used before that.

The only console I've had die is my original Gameboy. I really hope my NES keeps going, I don't know whether I'd ever cheer up if it went.

My PSP died 2 months after buying it and I got it on the day it was released. I was not happy then bought a refurb and that died 3 months after that but I got the last one for free and has worked for the last 2 years. Man the stress it has caused me :¬(.
My Ps2 has worked for years now and my ps3 is going strong so I feel lucky in those respects.
