Entomophobia. Left Fallout 3 on the shelf for a year straight. I made it past the Radroaches and the ants. I nearly fainted after beating the Ant Queen.
Oh dear, same here. Strangely enough, i have no problem with spiders or scorpions, but anything else (insects, millipedes and centipedes, etc) i cannot stand. The radscorpions, then, i could generally put up with, radroaches and ants...Ugh,i wish i didn't like that game so much.

ha well the game itself not exactly.

i am almost dead positive i have a small case of methyphobia (fear of alchohol(drinking it))

which another discussion to get into that..

but anyways certain games i can not play because it causes massive tunnel visions and i start to feel really enclosed and so i end up hating the game or having panic attacks about it

which is why i dont touch video games when im getting drunk anymore

Strangely, it hasn't affected me. I hate spiders myself, but apparently only the regular sized ones (go figure). Giants spiders simply present me with a target. A large target at that. I sure hope something like this hits me, though.
With me it's other way around. the bigger and hairier equals scarier.

Scared of the dark, strangers, empty places, and strange noises.

I barely finished the first level of Condemned. I added "bucket noises" to the list soon after.

My crippling fear of being made someone's ***** and my instinctual aversion to sucking it down meant I didn't beat Daikatana.

Does OCD count? Actually, I don't think my relatively minor OCD has ever stopped me from finishing a game.

I can't remember the last game there were wasps in. If there were some in the games I played, they certainly didn't stop me from beating it.

Die you terrible creatures!

I hate wasps as well! I was thrilled everytime I killed a Wasp in Donkey Kong Country XD

OT: I had Metriod Fusion as a kid and the game freaked me out for some reason. Just couldn't handle the whole "X" Parasite thing. Sold the game[footnote]and regretted it ever since[/footnote] without even beating the third area. Just too chicken.

i believe i may have a minor case of Kinemortophobia (fear of zombies). it kinda depends on what im seeing. like if the zombies are cartoon like im fine with it. i think my fear is more of being alone with zombies, because i'v played left 4 dead with my friends and i was just fine but when i played resident evil 4 by my self i played a little and just couldn't take it any more and sold it. it kinda sucks because a good chunk of games out there are zombie based, but if i have someone to play with im fine. most of the time if i play a game or see a movie with zombies in it, it dosnt affect me until im trying to fall asleep.

I swear that "Buck Bumble" on the N64 helped me get over my fear of bees when I was a small child. I was terrified of them as a child.

On an unrelated note, I seize uncontrollably when watching the world cup.

Never heard of that game. I don't think I want to try it though. O_O

On a side note, the theme song is awesome in a very strange way.

I struggle with games that involve buildings. They make me incredibly claustrophobic. I think that it's not being inside a building per se, it's the low ceilings, dark corners, unknown doors and lack of exits. I can't stand it for very long at a time.

I find System Shock 2 especially bad in this regard, as it is ALL corridors and low ceilings and doors with stuff behind them... I even freak out in Sledge's Safehouse in Borderlands. Just one little mission... it doesn't take too long, but I can only do it multiplayer, and then I have to follow the other player and I beg them to find what we need fast so I can finish and get out...

That actually looks kind of fun.

I may try it now.

I'm only scared of heights, and since I'm really not looking over a real ledge why would I be scared?

Nope. I suffer from arachnaphobia (as do others) but I take sick joy in killing them because they freak me out.
