I think the only game I've ever traded in in my life was MW2, and I've kept every other one, even from when I was 5 and didn't know what the NES was.

I'm quite a hoarder of my games, for seemingly no reason.
Do you have an oversized collection (in your opinion)? If so, why?
PS. I also have a good 30 PS2 and 20 odd Gamecube games stowed away, but they're not going anywhere.
Oh it was easily into the triple figures, and in cash too. Not sure how much, but it was definitely well over £160.gmaverick019 said:GLo Jones said:I recently had a clear out, and traded in 26 360 games (would've been 27 if the guys had accepted my copy of Too Human). damn how much did you get for the trade in for those 26 games?
OT: i used to horde..but not at all anymore, i beat a game into the ground, and if its a keeper/classic, i keep it, which is maybe 1/3 the time since i choose my games wisely, otherwise they are immediately off to be traded in for more game credits at my game store =]
Pretty much this. By the time I'm ready to hand in a game, it's been out for months/a year or so, so would trade in for a ridiculously low rate (Most I've seen was £8 for... I can't remember what it was, but they were selling it for about £30 used, I could see it on the shelf.)Wicky_42 said:God I have hundreds :S Then again, you can't trade in PC disks anywhere, can't replace N64 cartridges and I generally find other games' trade-in rates to be simply insulting. Better to hang onto them 'just in case' rather than basically hand over £20 profit to some selfish store.
oh man, i almost never do the cash, i always keep it as store credit, you probably would have had a shit ton more if you left it at that (but hey, sometimes cash is good) but usually i figure im gonna be buying games in the near future at some point so i usually keep it as credit unless im in financial needGLo Jones said:Oh it was easily into the triple figures, and in cash too. Well the reason for the clear out was that I really did need the cash, and I rarely ever buy games from the store anymore, it's all ordered online nowadays. As long as my orders are prepared before release date, I get the games much quicker that way.gmaverick019 said:oh man, i almost never do the cash, i always keep it as store credit, you probably would have had a shit ton more if you left it at that (but hey, sometimes cash is good) but usually i figure im gonna be buying games in the near future at some point so i usually keep it as credit unless im in financial needGLo Jones said:Oh it was easily into the triple figures, and in cash too.
