Poll: Have you bought an Amiibo yet?

So today I finally bought one of those Amiibo which is Roselina.

Technically Toon Link is my favourite fighter (they haven't got him yet) but in saying so I am comfortable at using her (kept using her to try to get an Mii mask or armor from target pratice) and I bought her to spite that douche who has been buying all of her on Youtube.

Anyway it got me thinking if anyone else on here has bought one yet?

Lastly, has there been any word on the adapter thing for the 3DS?

(Yes I know there is a shortage on them at the US so I guess I was lucky to had gotten her in the UK).

EDIT- I may get Toon Link and maybe Robin or Lucina at some point but I kinda got too many figurine at the moment.

EDIT 2- Ok they got more Rosalina so I guess everyone is happy for those who wanted her but weren't as quick as me!

I have 4 - Toon Link, Link, Zelda and Samus Aran. I bought them ages ago, back when the first lot were announced. I haven't actually used any of them yet, hell they're all still boxed, but that's purely because I don't own a Wii U to ue them with. I only bought them because I wanted them on my shelf and for when I do eventually buy the console.

I have quite a few. I just liked the appeal of not only having little statues of my favorite characters, but also nigh-unbeatable NPC's.

Samus - Lvl. 50 Speed/Attack build
Mega Man - Lvl. 20-ish Defense/Speed build
Link - Unboxed, but not leveled. (Ran out of stuff to feed 'em)
Toon Link - Unboxed, but not leveled. (Ran out of stuff to feed 'em)
Villager - Lvl. 50 Attack/Defense build (200 ATK/150+ DEF He's a god)
Wario - Unopened.
Yoshi - Unopened.

And soon, I'll pick up a Ganondorf. Just waiting on Game & Watch now, and I'll have all the ones I want. May grab a Pikachu as well.

EDIT: I'm also missing all the Kirby ones. I think I have a problem.

I wish they'd go back to selling complete games, rather than trying to nickle and dime us to death by segmenting the shit out of everything.

Despite my not having the compatible console or handheld a friend did gift me Peach, Zelda, and Roselina, because she knew I'd like them. Hopefully I'll get a WiiU, or/and a 3DS sometime in the nearish future with some games to use them with.

I wanted to get the Zelda, Fire Emblem, and Pokemon amiibo, but I don't have any idea where to buy them at a fair price

also I lve in Puerto Rico so all the Toys R us, Best Buy, Target exclusive amiibo are impossible for me to get since none of those stores exist in PR Y__Y

No and I probably never will. Besides price the two main problems I have with them is one its more tat I could do without (just chucked a load of stuff like 2 skip fulls so dont want to start re-cluttering) and two (more importantly) I do not like the idea behind them and the direction it is ultimately pushing Nintendo with its games. Its just a worse form of DLC paywall bs as far as I am concerned. If they were just figures and had no impact on games I would not have a problem with them (still would not buy any though).

I have seven. I have Pit, Palutena, Zelda, Link, Sheik, Mega Man, and Robin. The first one I bought was Pit, who was considered Unicorn Rare, a fact of which I was not aware at the time. After that, while I was hanging out with my friends, I bought Mega Man, Link, Sheik, and Zelda just for funsies, the other day I bought Palutena because I saw that she was up for relatively cheap, and my sister got me Robin for my 20th birthday a week ago.

No, I'm not happy with how they handled the supply issues and how Nintendo walking is walking the razor's edge between a fun little addition to a game and DLC. It's one thing to lock some small on-disc stuff behind a small paywall, but it's a whole new ball game when the only way to purchase that content is to buy hard to find plastic figurines. (Still waiting for news on Amiibo cards, Ninty.)

I would have gotten a Samus amiibo when they came out, but I hated the Other M design of her suit even before finding out that game was total ass. And I still laugh at Link leaning on a giant block of frozen urine.

Maybe I'll get a Yarn Yoshi or a Ganondorf amiibo when they come out, but I'm not gonna put up too much of a fight to get one. Ganondorf looks quite detailed, refined, and absolutely badass, and Yarn Yoshi looks adorable and unique.

EDIT: I know what to write; I was going to get more of them but since Nintendo can't be bothered meeting supply and having them released in convoluted ways (I.E the Amazon bullshit) I've little interest in getting more. Wanted Sonic, Megaman and Samus (Zero and armoured).

I have an opened Samus sitting on my shelf. I don't own any relevant games or a Wii U, so she's just there because I liked the old Metroid games.

I would do this with more if they were easier to find. Especially the Pokeymanz.
