Nah. When I want to escape the world I jump into books, games, TV, etc. All the lovely reality escaping without the liver damage.

No, but I have used some of my hobbies such as video games to ignore problems, still I don't recomend ignoring your problems. In my experience ignoring a problem only makes it grow.

Drinking doesn't really make the problems go away... so it's really more "problem retardant".
But to answer the question, yes. I drink to make the pain of being forced to interact with stupid people go away.

You cant really drink your problems away but when things really hit the fan i do just get real drunk as it softens the hurt for a night and gives you a chance to look at the situation with out trying to think too logical about it.

apart from the fact that I'm not technically legal to drink, No, I haven't. I don't have that many bad problems to be honest...

I do it all the time. In fact I did it last night, it made me feel much better. Sure the problems still exist, but for the moment I didn't care about them.

I'm going to get to drinking in bit today as well. I love alcohol. I love the way it tastes. I love the way it makes me feel. I can't say one bad things about it.

No. I actually prefer the emotional pain... and drinking while depressed is never a good idea.

Yes, it has helped me create drunken plans of revenge on many ex boyfriends.
Hell, I am driking a beer now and its 4:07 pm on a sunday - quite acceptable imo.

No. The only thing that nobody can take from us are emotion, and reason. Alcohol deadens both. Therefore, I do not use it.

I like drinking alcohol every now and then, but I've never used it as a means of escaping my problems. I drink to relax and while hanging out with mates, sure, but the idea of drowning my sorrows has never appealed to me. After a few times drunk I no longer can trust myself not to cause problems for others.

Tried it. It didn't work.

Did the falling down drunk, unable to get back up again thing while alone in my home. I could have dismissed once as one of those stupid things that everyone does. The second time was a message - stop fucking drinking.

So I don't. But often wish that I did, I could generate an alcohol problem in no time at all =(
