Recently i was watching stuff in my DVR Que and While watching An episode of Criminal minds and during the commercial(I multitask so I don't always FF) this commercial came on.

For like 10 seconds I couldn't brain and had to shake my head rigorously side to side to un-tilt my brain. Its not the first time its happened to me but its the most recent.

Now Escapist has that ever happened to you? Have you seen or Read something that caused a full stop on your brain for a period of time?

We have a satellite technician at work who's been working with RF systems for close to a decade. The following is an illustration of how he says satellite dishes work.

Literally just got done watching the trailer for "InAPPropriate Movie", the one by the sham-wow guy. I have never seen a trailer that made a movie look so bad. And it's so much worse in reality--it made around $650 per theater.

What makes me dumbfounded? Well I can't really think of anything off the top of my head (most things that make me dumbfounded are far too random to keep track of) but one thing that consistently breaks my mind is this: Thinking about how many alternate universes can result from one single event.

[spoiler = Lets take a simple event such as waiting for the bus.]There are 10 people waiting at a bus stop. There are 3 benches with 2 seats each. there are also 3 buses that stop at the stop. For simplicity's sake lets assume that no one will arrive at the stop and no one will leave except by bus. Also, lets leave out the randomness of a bus's schedule and rule out most of time as a factor and leave it in 3 sets coordinating with each bus stop.

Aaaaaand my brain just broke trying to figure out how many universes result from seating arrangements on the benches when it realized that if a person gets up from the benches to get on a bus a seat opens up and any one of the 4 people standing could either sit or decide to keep standing. [/spoiler]
If anyone can figure out how many different universes can result from that scenario you win the internet.

Well there's this thing that's gonna happen this week where a lawyer, a college educated person with a degree and a license to practice his trade is going to go before the Supreme Court of the United States and argue that gay marriage should be banned in the state of California because gay\lesbian couples can't have accidental pregnancies, and that's his entire argument.

There is so much stupid in that argument that I just can't even find words for it. Attempting to figure out how the hell that even makes any sort of sense just makes my brain shut down and not function for a bit.
