Once, by a girl, although I was too drunk to realize it. She was a pretty brunette exchange student who kept asking me all kinds of questions in english. She was disappointed that I didn't seem interested in her, and I was disappointed because I couldn't properly explain a certain Finnish phenomenon in English.

I qualify my vote for option #1 by saying that my wife usually tells me what was going on after the fact. I am completely oblivious to such things on my own.
In the interest of being a nice guy I do have a question for my gay gamer brethren here though: If you showed interest in a guy would you feel worse if he were straight or worse if he just turned you down without citing that as the reason?

I've been hit on by people of all genders. Since I'm bi, I think it's great, and I appreciate it when people find me interesting enough to hit on me.
I've always failed to understand why some people get so bent out of shape when someone of a gender they aren't attracted to hits on them. Are they really that insecure about their sexuality? If you aren't interested, a simple 'no thanks, I don't swing that way' works fine instead of throwing a hissy fit about it.

Yeah we used to go gay barring when we were poor to get free drinks, not proud of it, but it does work
Yeah by both, current is of the same sex, thinks he can make me gay, I just roll with it and say he has no chance at it because he doesn't lol.
Yes, by guys. Admittedly he was drunk at the time and his chat up line was that he's 'hung like a horse'. Needless to say he was turned down.
