Online, yes by the opposite sex.
Huh, you mean no-one's ever hit on you IRL? Ah well, you're still young, there's plenty of time :D.

As for me, remarkably both. I've very rarely been hit on by girls, though usually the girl in question has been someone I'm not attracted to or, more often, I've not realised until after I've blew my chances (see, my constant single status isn't for lack of trying, or opportunity...). As for guys, I was hit on once in a club by a guy. He was hanging around the bar with a group of girls, one of them came up to me and said that her friend, the guy, fancied me, and when I looked over he was looking at me and gave me this little smile. I had to tell him that I was straight, though I was actually quite flattered by him...

Irony is, though the club in question isn't in the Leeds gay area, it literally borders it and holds several gay nights through the week. I was at a usual night with my housemates though, not the gay night...

Yeah, when I was out with some friends once I was introduced to this dude. I should have guessed he was gay after he spent a whole twenty minutes babbling on about my eyes and hair, but then he made a move and I was gone in a flash!
Everything up until making the move is fine though. I had a guy flirt with me about my eyes. I dug it. But then I dig it when anyone pays me a compliment.

Yes, by both. I even comforted one of the guys I rejected. I got the feeling he didn't often do this and feel you should always be nice to people who are essentially complimenting you (unless they're particularly slimy, in which case the only thing stopping me from backhanding them is the fact I don't want to touch them lest my hand be greased up)

well girls tried to hit on me a few times. None of them were particularly attractive, in fact they looked a lot like whores.

No shit

Everyone gets hit on eventually, the way you are hit on varies of course.

As for me, some girls have flirted with me a couple times, but I only remember one that flat out hitted on me by touching me, lol awesome times.

This skank, and I mean skank queen of skanksville, sat on my lap in band. I got her off of my knee quickly and walked off. Apparently this meant to a young gentleman that I preferred the company of men, so he hit on me two weeks later. I told him I wasn't interested and he stated why he thought he knew my sexual orientation.

Unironically, the skank got preggers before any other girls in my high school class. Ironically the dude is still with her.

Both sexes.

I don't get overly creeped out by other men hitting on me, so long as I make it quite clear that I am straight and uninterested I am actually quite flattered that they find me attractive. I don't get it when people start getting freaked out because someone of the same sex hits on them, usually a "Thank you, but I'm straight" works as a repellent, you don't need to react like (and this is something I've seen often) "Oh my God, but you're a guy! Urghhh!!!!" or something similar. That's just hurtful to them and completely unnecessary..

Girls are, obviously, more welcome. Unless they're completely drunk, then it's just slightly annoying.

And third grade? WTF? How could you not "role" that way if you hadn't even hit puberty yet? I don't think anyone with self esteem would just let someone just walk up to them and kiss them out of the blue.

I get hit on by guys mostly at work. Either by really unfortunate looking guys who keep coming back every 5 minutes to ask extremely obvious questions they clearly know the answer too, or guys that think if they flirt with you for a while they can get a discount.

I've been hit on by both sexes and they both claim to have not. I get why the guys have denied it but I think the girls only do it because basically almost all already have BFs and they think they can't even "like" me because of that.

More times of opposite than same.

It's kinda cute when a guy does it, but when a girl tried to hit on me...well, actually, it gets very awkward.

This girl wouldn't stop hugging me and trying to get me to hold her hand. I really don't like human contact by anyone, and I'm straight, so I had to quickly stop her and tell her that I was.

And then she turned around and hit on my best friend, who was there at the time. We both ran away from her, and she chased us for a while. Awkward...

Got rather...aggressively hit on by a would-be (male) molester when I was 15. Didn't end well for him---do not anger a crazy person.

I get hit on by women once in awhile, but unfortunately the kinds of girls who like to flirt with me are not the kinds of girls I want to date.

At an amusement park while I was walking with some friends, I felt a pinch on my ass. I thought was my friend screwing with me, so I say, "Goddammit David, not in public, alright?" Then he goes, "Dude, that wasn't me." Turns out, it was some chick who we had passed.

My friend constantly gets hit on by men, even though he's actually with his girlfriend at a time.

Another friend (not sure if he's gay, but uses words like 'glam') says he gives off a "gay vibe"

Sadly, most of the time I only get hit on by people of the same sex as me.

Its quite disturbing, I'll tell you that... I'm not homophobic, buuut I'd rather they didn't press their... ways... on me.

I've been hit on numerous times by girls, mostly when I was training outside with my top off when it was summer:p. I'm being hit on still though because people recognise me as "that guy who does freerunning"(I don't, I do Parkour)and because our town is very small and close knit word gets around quickly. I've been approached, complimented, hit on, you name it because of this. Once had this group of 4 black girls come over to me whilst training and start talking to me, all of them, pretty much at the same time, like they were competing for my attention, was quite funny now I look back on it, managed to get all their numbers too:p, and the rest they say, is history:)

Same sex, yes I have been unfortunately. I didn't clock on(cause come on, you don't really expect to be hit on by a gay guy do you?)and he kinda skulked away because he thought I wasn't interested, which I wasn't anyway. Hopefully I won't ever be hit on by them again *shudder*
