Yep. Once in school some girl called me, and I quote, "an ugly *****".

I didn't think my hair and ugly face was that bad.

It's stopped happening since I cut my hair half way through that year. My hair usually gets cut to eyebrow-level at the front and just above the top of the neck at the back, and over the course of several months it grows down to be level with my nose before I cut it again. Back then it was roughly level with my chin.

*EDIT* Oh yeah, and people have mistaken me for being a girl for having a high pitched voice. It's not as high pitched any more, but it used to be. I refused to ever use a microphone despite owning them for years, because they made my voice even worse.

Nope. Been mistaken for quite a few different ethnicities, but never the wrong gender.

Nope, I can't recall ever being mistaken for a guy. I have short hair and am of a slim build, but I dress feminine and put on lipstick and shit, so I guess I'm doing just fine passing myself off as a lady.

Voice chat in video games aside, (My voice has been mistaken for a girl's sometimes. My voice is pretty deep. Don't ask how it happened.), back in junior high I had longer hair, and the administration at my school often mistook me for a woman. I'd often get warned that I was heading into the MEN'S RESTROOMS OF ALL PLACES.

No. Wish I had been though. I've often had the fantasy of dressing up as a guy and taking a walk just to see if I could pull it off. But I've already come to the conclusion that I can't. My mannerisms are too feminine and I can't do a man's voice even if my life depended on it. At best, a passerby would assume that I am flamboyantly gay.

Yes, it was quite hilarious.
I was out riding my bike in my small home town on the large road when an old hermity man comes from his house walks up to the road calling me a girl and offers me a flower.
I even think i had facial hair.

Back when I had long curly locks, I got some remarks from some guys down the street who were apparently quite interested in me. When I turned around, they said "Oh shit, you're a guy" and drove away.

Confusing, since the reason I had long hair was because I was a large hairy man, not one of those scrawny kids.

I've been mistaken for a girl a few time, back when I was 13-14 ish and had hair down to my waist...

But after I turned around and people saw my beard and whatnot they realised their mistake.
A beard with 14, man kids grow up fast these days.^^

Not physically but by my voice. When I get real excited my voice gets super high pitched (think Chris Tucker) and I've had many a time where the RA would knock on our door thinking we had a girl in the dorm after hours.

Even when I had long hair, my Halo of Masculinity saved me from an awkward moment.
By Halo of Masculinity, I meant epic beard.

Feminine eyes, wide hips and long hair, so yeah, I get mistaken once in a while, or pretty much all the time on my motorcycle (helmet and bulky clothing hide any more masculine features.

Several occations. Mostly kids outright asking, "Are you a boy or a girl?". To which I always reply, in an extra deep voice, "Boy."

Long blonde hair, glasses I barely have facial hair( can't grow a beard or moustache, even if I don't shave for years I can't :( )
