First of all, yes, I have. Ive had a number of nicknames, in fact. In my rugby days, it was "Coach Dan" For trying to get the rest of my team to do shit at practice so we wouldnt have to run laps.

Also, "Lt. Dan", because some people had only JUST seen Forrest Gump. Last year.

Among the others are dumbass, Daniel-san, and hey you. What about you guys?

Yeah, through middle school and high school I was known as Kiwi.

It was made in the early parts of middle school as someone from first school had an accent that made the first part of my name sound like "Key" and then a girl managed to make the connection and started calling me "Kiwi" which then stuck.

Then since I got a bunch of new friends in college (Only one friend from high school came to the same college, and she didn't really call me by my nickname) it kinda stopped (Except for when I meet up with old friends)

Edit: I just remembered another nickname I was given, a while back I had waist length hair and a couple of my friends started calling me "Jesus" which they still do (Even though I had my hair shaved off years ago)

A girl from my class used to call me "Fluffy" because of my fuzzy hair. Thankfully it didn't really catch on and she is still the only one who calls me that.

Some friends of mine took to calling me Prof. Plum for a while because they liked to joke that I would someday kill them in a way reminiscent of the game Clue. As to why they decided on Prof. Plum I have no idea but i'm not complaining because it means i'm a fucking professor.

Edit: I should also mention that my last name is Starr, which lead to many people calling me things like Super Starr or Rock Starr or some shit like that. There were no survivors.

In High school one of my mates give me a nickname by adding y to my surname. This make it sound more like a pet name than a nickname. I despise him for doing that as it catch on with the rest of my mates (I'm glad I no longer keep in touch with him).

Because I used to have long hair and a beard about a year ago, some of my uni friend's nicknamed me "Gimli" when we first met and a couple of them still call me that, even though I've long since had a hair cut... why they picked Gimli (other than him being awesome) out of all the LOTR characters I have no idea since physically I'm the opposite shape to a dwarf.

just yesterday, a friend of mine decided that I should be called "The party princess of penis".

No idea if it'll stick.

The only one that really stuck was "Flame" due to firey red hair & I really do like setting things on fire.

No nicknames for me. No one has even tried to give me one ... unless they call me something different behind my back.

At music camp in North Dakota I was "Canada" because I was the Canadian in the trumpet section. I've been named "Boots" for my winter boots (dunno where that started) and Spy (before TF2 mind you) for being the one who knows everyones secrets in my old drama club.

During highschool I was a really skinny kid (5'10" and only 145 lbs). As a result people started calling me 'Stickboy', but thats all but stopped now (still 5'10" but now 180lbs)

Yes... a couple:

Fatso is the longest running one and I'm still called that, and have been called Fatso since the age of six, even though I'm 5'11", 67kgs and have a 30in waistline... -_-

Iggy, because I once said 'call me ignorant, (but...)' and so everyone promptly did...

Yup my friends have called me "Dooley" for years now.Originally came about due to a mispronunciation of my surname which they though was funny and so it stuck

When I was in primary school I was called "Froggy" due to the fact that at the time there was a frog character on a kids tv show that had the same first name as me

Nicknames that stuck for more then a few days are/were:

Ash - for some unfortunate incidents with ashtrays/cigar ash
Locutus (of Jorg) - my fist name is Jorg so Locutus was an easy add
and Fluffy - due to a leaky wintercoat depositing white fluff everywhere I went

I was briefly called Caveman in high school, but that didn't really stick and I eventually stopped hanging out with the people that called me that. I wish I had one though. Taylor always just sounded like a lame sort of name to me... *shrug*

I have, however, gotten quite fond of being called 'summer' from my time here. I think I'll keep this screen name.
