I have beaten my computer like a red-headed stepchild when it malfunctioned. I have a new one now, and I want it to know that I will do the same to it if it screws up on me!

Actually, yes - I had a fan that would act up and start making obnoxious noises, and slapping the side of the case would make it stop for a while.
I know a guy like that, but I think it's his fault it does that. He has headbutted it and hit it multiple times.Gildan Bladeborn said:

It's too expensive, though, so if I get mad now, I throw something into the wall... or bang on the wall. It's been a while since I've done that, though : )

ill admit to this. like 9 years ago my cell phone was dropping calls left and right. i said enough is enough. i went out into the garage and found a hammer and proceeded to destroy it with extreme prejudice.

Not my laptop, but frequently all the tower computers we've had. And yes, I slap/lightly kick the towers, not the monitors. Made me feel better.
Not my own computer, I don't want to damage it further. I do, however, let loose on the school computers, quite recently headbutting one that was being stupid. One of the teachers nearby then said 'A shoddy worksman blames his tools' to which I said 'Fine, I'm a shoddy worksman, the computer is still shit'. Good times.
