Poll: Have you ever named your console or PC?

Lately EVERYONE in my neighborhood has taken up some weird fad where they give their consoles names.

Examples:

My friend Lexi has named their families 360 Excaliber. Odd I think... The only person around my place who hasn't named it because (No offense to 360 owners I've seen fights start from stuff like this.) "When you name things, you get attached to them. I've had 2 red ringed already so when this one dies I want to part with it easily."

Have you ever named one? Would you want to? Will you now that I mentioned it?

I call my PC univac after the very first computer ever.

From this you can surmise two things. One, I was lying in a desperate bid to be comedic, and don't really name my PC. And two, I'm a certified Browncoat

My tech teacher named his Macintosh computer, "Mac."

My current PC is called Alexis. The name changes whenever I sufficiently overhaul the hardware enough to deem it a new PC. The last PC was called Rachel.

I dunno why, really. Musicians name their guitars, people regularly name their cars, naming my PC - a pretty important thing in my life - seems pretty natural to me.

Plus it's easier to hurl abuse at it for being non co-operative when it has a name.

I said tech teacher. I think the later grades would call him a physics teacher? Well, he mostly taught us about bridges and cars. We built a toothpick bridge once. I won second prize.
