I defended and liked Jar Jar Binks as a kid. There, I said it. All the other boys were Darth Maul fanboys but guess who survived to the next movie? Jar Jar, of course. Whether people liked this was another matter. Anyway, I think it's sad people are happy he got frozen in carbonite in The Force Unleashed.
Apart from that, I supported the Harvest Moon franchise even though lots of reviewers hate it.

Tribes: Vengeance. I pretty much think it is the greatest shooter, if not the greatest game ever conceived, yet it is pretty much hated by Tribes fans, and pretty much nonexistent to gamers in general.
I used to play the console version (Tribes : Aerial Assault). I felt pretty much the same way about it <3, but it was mostly unappreciated on the PS2, as well.
