Hope its just nothing.

I tend to take a philisophical view on life; like Dr. Seus once said "Dont be sad because its over, be happy because it happend."

I'd pick oblivion any day.

Think about it; you were in oblivion before you were born. Was it all that bad? Of course not! Neither was it good. It's just nonexistence.

Personally, I see it as complete freedom; being forever released from the endless pursuit of happiness, no longer burdened by the cares and worries associated with living (in this life or in any hypothetical afterlife).

To compare oblivion to Hell is like comparing zero to negative infinity. Zero is always greater than negative infinity.
i'd rather go to morrowind though.

I can think of something worse than that

How about "Johnny got his gun", except for an eternity?

Going by the logic that everything must come to and end I conclude this: All living things at some point die. If you go to hell, you will be conscious of every agonizingly horrible second of it, until time ends, at which point you will progress to the next stage of whatever. If you simply stop existing, thereby having no sensory perception to perceive the time you are not experiencing, then if your atoms ever reform into the mind that you once possessed, then the transition would be instantaneous and it would seem like you just blinked.

Nothingness.

No suffering, no torture.

Hell is not supposed to be a fun place, its supposed to be a place that you wish for the releaf of that void but it never comes.

Its not all strippers and rock stars and sexy demon chicks.

Edit: Also, at least the void of non-existence is real.

If I had a true choice of one or the other. I want to not exist.
Hell, even if I had a choice of heaven too , I would choose not existing.

I don't want to exist forever, conscious, constantly thinking. I don't like thinking as it is.
Just existing forever and ever, it would get pretty damn boring, would it?

I intend to live forever, so both are irrelevant.

How anyone could be so careless of their own existence that they'd take oblivion is mind boggling to me.

I think Hell would be exciting. At least I would have friends. (Get it, my friends are all going to Hell)
