Oh, I gotcha. I mean that it combines pretty much everything that is needed to create a well-rounded TV show. It has an episodic structure which allows each individual session to stand on it's own two feet, but still has an overarching plotline of sorts that connects all of the characters together. It's full of fantastic vocal performances in both the Japanese and English versions (though I personally prefer the latter), the animation is absolutely stunning for the time period. Each character is archetypal, but still contain enough depth to keep the viewer interested in their arcs (the only possible exception is Edward, who really just functions as comic relief and nothing else). Finally, the series has without a doubt the greatest usage of music and ambient sound that I've ever seen on TV, with such incredible scenes as the finale of Session 5, or the unbelievably cathartic ending.Souleks said:"Best show on TV" that is a bold statement.Breaker deGodot said:Huh? That is seriously the best show ever put on TV, IMO. The only anime that comes close is Wolf's Rain (and to an extent, Monster).
I say FMA Brotherhood It has a #3 slot on my list for a reason its a fantastic story with really fun characters and fight scenes.

God dammit not now Captcha I just got finished playing Day Z.
Add all these superlatives up, and it's easy to see why I see Cowboy Bebop as an exemplary television experience.
